Disneyland 1964 - 1965 World's Fair Photos As you may already know, Walt Disney provided four attractions for the 1964 - 1965 New York World's Fair: it's a small world, Progressland (which housed the Carousel of Progress), the Illinois pavilion's Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln and The Ford Wonder Rotunda (of which parts came to the park as Primeval World and the transport system for the PeopleMover). At the conclusion of the fair most everything was brought to Disneyland, where most of what comprised three of the attractions remains in operation to this day. Thanks to the kindness of Bruce Graebner, who took these photos and allowed us to offer them here on the site, we can offer you a look at three of those attractions at the World's Fair before they made their way to Disneyland. it's a small world Pepsi was the Fair sponsor for it's a small world, below is what you'd see walking up towards it in 1964.
The metal sculpture above, is presented in close- up below - The Tower of the Four Winds (as it was called) never made it out to California due to the expense involved in dismantling it.
Currently a much smaller sign out front of the attraction now at Disneyland pays tribute to the sculpture above.
