| Our retired guide on visiting the park. For current info, see Park Updates: Disneyland |
|
To the right of the previous photo - a little South - is the actual Circle D ranch area - below you can see the Main Street streetcar horses taking a well deserved break from it all.
To the right of the photo above - again heading South and then West a bit - you can see below what appears to be the motor pool area. Sometimes the trams are repaired here. The buildings behind them, if memory serves right, is where the attraction vehicles and trash cans are repainted.
Here's a break area out back - looks like a teacup needs mending.
Below is the backstage area to the west of the photo above in an older shot. The big clown face [in the picture, center bottom] appears to be the prop that sat behind the Pirates show building that you saw from the Train just before you pulled up to the New Orleans Square / Frontierland Station. The greenery you see is the back of the Rivers of America.
This last shot below is facing South - and looks out over the new tram loading area for both the new parking structure and the Pinocchio lot. In the distance you can see the new California Adventure park on the left, and the Disneyland Hotel on the right. The Pacific [soon to be Paradise Pier] hotel tower is in the center of the shot. The road on the left is West St. / Disneyland Dr.
And that completes our walk around the berm! Again thanks to the kind reader who sent the new shots in. Feel free to return to the CONTENTS page...
