Welcome to a labor of love for me, the Disneyland Information Guide (or D-I-G for short), which is now a part of MousePlanet.com. Originally the D-I-G started as a monthly posting of Disneyland hours to the Disney Usenet newsgroups because I and many others got sick of answering the same questions about schedules over and over again. It has expanded over the past couple of years into this web site, and has become part of the MousePlanet family. As you can see by reading through the site, I've been blessed with many contributions and suggestions from a very loyal readership. From Australia to Japan, from the United Kingdom all the way to Russia, the guide now generates monthly over a thousand e-mails. And the guide's usefulness has only been increased by these people who take the time to drop a suggestion, tip, or hint that ultimately ends up benefiting everyone else. This site was prepared using Microsoft's Front Page 2000, and proofed on and Microsoft's Internet Explorer 5.5 in a Windows 98 environment. Your browser should fully support tables, since this allows the pages to expand so they can fit into your browser window. Two books were particularly useful in originally creating this site; Designing Web Graphics by Lynda Weinman from New Riders and Elizabeth Castro's Visual Quickstart Guide / HTML for the World Wide Web from Peachpit Press. Extra special thanks go out to all the park fans who are more into HTML than I am for all their helpful tips and tricks over the years that make the site better for everyone to use. |
Although I don't mind answering a quick question - do not e-mail me with a detailed list on how to help plan your vacation the day before you leave. I have my hands full with the 1,500 or more e-mails I get monthly about the guide already which allows little time to respond properly to them all. This part of the site should answer the most common questions you may have. A SPECIAL REQUEST FROM THE AUTHOR: It has come to my attention that the ECONOGUIDE TO DISNEYLAND has utilized large sections of this site without payment or credit. Please take a few moments to let others know about this problem, and that if they are in the market for a DL book, suggest that they purchase other guides instead. THANK YOU! |
