A view from the other direction - seating to the left, new entry to the
restaurant is on the right of the well shown below. Grillwork will be
placed over the fireplace shortly, and it will burn on a regular basis.

The newly redone seating area has more covered seating - and an extensive
assortment of lamps. Note the space heaters built it also - to keep diners
warm on cool evenings. Again, Big Thunder is behind the fence on the left,
the former Mineral Hall is directly towards the back.

The clear glass used in the lighting fixtures makes for a dazzling light show
once the sun goes down - compared to how dark it used to be before the
the remodel.

In front of the dining area, is a small circular planter - but with odd stone
work, which seems to conceal something that needs air circulation. Your
guess is as good as mine here.

Finally, a good view of the new sign outside. Even though they didn't theme the
whole place to Zorro as they had hoped, he still makes an appearance... note
the name Rancho del Zocalo, as we had mentioned here before.

The following two shots were taken by David Lane on 11/28 and show how much
work is yet to be done inside. The photo below would be the view past the sign above.

In this next shot, you can see how you can walk from the entrance area of
the restaurant all the way out to the former Carnation Gardens area off the hub.
(The wall to the right borders the Frontierland shooting gallery.) There are
restrooms in that area between the two lands, (behind the shooting gallery)
both are very nicely done...

The view below is from the former Carnations Garden area into the restaurant itself -
you can see the archway shown below in the above shot at the end of the walkway.

Below is a shot taken 11/19 of the new restaurant from the hub area... note the odd
mix of western style and Main St. You'll be able to walk through it to Frontierland.
