DFS also
operates a traditional souvenir shop - accessible directly from
Hollywood Blvd. - full of rather unique Hollywood items. What I liked
most about this location was the theming - as you enter (below) looking
up at the ceiling you can see an art installation representing the Los
Angeles airport. It is surrounded by freeways all over your head,
complete with cars.

You name the licensed
character, they probably have a display up for it. Everywhere are movie
posters and video screens decorating the space - which is meant to evoke
a sound stage. It is a spotless environment, immaculately maintained.

Other interesting shops in
the complex include Attack of the Killer B's (campy Sci-fi / Horror
movie gift items) and Book City (a unique boutique book store). You can
also find such mall staples as the Gap, Brookstone and Build-A-Bear too.
Dining options range from
the high end The Grill on Hollywood, to such mall favorites as Johnny
Rockets, Cupid's Hot Dogs and a Krispy Kreme stand. It's safe to say
there is something for every budget within the courtyards.
