This stay was a quick visit to Disney World prior to a 7-day cruise and we needed something as affordable as possible. The hotel was part of an Expedia package so I do not know the hotel portion exactly but it must have been in the $40/night range.
My very low expectations were pleasantly exceeded. This is an older hotel that must have been part of a name-brand chain in its earlier years (Holiday Inn?) but it is clean, the service was attentive, and the rooms were large.
Our room was on the 6th floor (I believe there are 8 floors) and was located just two doors from the elevator, I did not hear any noise from the elevator or traffic in the hall. There was a newer 27-inch TV and balcony in the room, we were facing the freeway and gift shop so not much to see. The only negative I have is that there was almost zero water pressure in the shower. Each morning we received a USA Today and on the day we checked out we received a nice hand-written note from the front-desk thanking us for our stay.
The location is amazing for an off-site hotel, the entrance to the resort is across the street. Coming back from Disney you do need to drive a block or so and make a u-turn to get back into the hotel. We ate breakfast each morning in the restaurant. The food was adequate and reasonably priced. Nothing special but very quick and convenient.
