I booked this partcular hotel - guaranteed- king bed with sleeper sofa - online only a few days before our coming to DLR as everything else was either sold out way too expensive. We come to DLR 6 to 8 times a year for everything from Mouseadventure to Candlelight and simple getaways. HJ and CC are our two favorite places. The facility is a business style hotel, very clean with somewhat spartan ammentities. Rooms have mini kitchens. Unfortunately, upon arrival ( 1 hour before reserved dinner seating at DTD ) I was given a room with only a king bed, no sofa. I showed the desk clerk my reservation and asked if there was a mistake. She simply shrugged and said there are no sofa sleepers whatsoever in the entire hotel. ( BTW - no rollaways either, I asked. ) It was way too late to change. I drove over to Kmart and purchased a couple of camp mats. One of us had to sleep on the floor. The mats worked OK but the thing of it is I was guarenteed something online and given something else when I arrived. The gentleman behind me was told nothing was available even though he had a reservation. I sent an email to Extended Stay and was sent back a reply in the form of questionare. I skipped to the comment section and wrote my response verbally. Interestingly, when checking out I overheard the desk clerk tell a gentleman that they were overbooked for the weekend. When I arrived home later that day, I checked online again and found all nature of rooms available. I would be very careful about bookings made by this facility.
