The hotel used to be a condominium and now it belongs to Quality Suites. (Strange that they have decided to exclude their logo from most advertisements)
Even though it got a facelift on 2003, mostly paint, it still looks a little outdated on the exterior. During my 2001 stay, I was very happy with the size of the room. We had rented a two bedroom. Even though it was clean, the furnishing could not get any more rudimentary. There were two TVs, one in the master bedroom and the other in the living area. The room with two doubles did not have one. One of the TVs was missing a remote, but I guess that was only in my room.
Every appliance in the kitchen was in good condition and utensils were provided.
Since there are several buildings, the distance to the breakfast area can be quite long and there are not many spaces available to take a car.
This is a paradise for golfers though, since the golf course surrounds the hotel. I believe that the hotel offers one free 18 hole game with every day of reservation. There is also a practice green and driving range.
I paid $90+tax with a AAA rate during my stay in 2001, If you can get that rate today I would really recommend you to stay there. When I called during summer 2003 the rate was at $100 for a one bedroom (there are better places out there for that rate).

In conclusion, the rooms are clean and spacious but lack personality, the walking distances during summer are too long. Unless somebody in your party is taking golf clubs with them or you are able to get a good rate I would try my luck somewhere else.
