Having dined at many authentic Japanese restaurants my girlfriend and I thought Matsu no ma was pretty authentic. The prices were comparable to other Japanese restaurants (about $60 for two ppl) and so was the food. The service was excellent: we were seated and served with very little wait considering we went during the dinner dash. They also had a good selection of sushi to choose from. We would reccommend this restaurant if you are looking for good authentic Japanese food.

We came for dinner about 7:00 p.m. There wasn't a wait for the lounge. We had sushi and our 9 yr old had the tempura. The food was outstanding and fresh. The kimono clad waitresses were pleasant and the service was great. We had a view of the lagoon and the atmosphere was wonderful -- serene and relaxing after a long hot day at Epcot. The host/manager?? was very hospitable. Worthwhile place to introduce your children to food other than the usual burgers, chicken strips and hot dogs.

This is a great place to escape that crowds and grab a cocktail and light bite-to-eat. Overlooking World Showcase lagoon, this a great place to people-watch, as well as a great place (indoors) to watch the fireworks away from the crowds. The sushi rolls are very good. The decor and wait service is charming, very much like any Japanese restaurant elsewhere in the states. Any time I have been there, it has not been at all crowded. We like to slip away here to grap a Kirin Light and a Spicy Tuna Roll!
