My mother, my sister and I stopped by Gasparilla before our appointments at the Spa to grab a quick breakfast. They had quite a choice for a food-court type area. We sat outside and the weather was great and the view was beautiful. We even got to see the Parasol Parade (a morning parade of cast members) while we were seated outside. We enjoyed our coffee and fruit and danishes. It was really a lovely way to start the day.

This combination Arcade and Snack Bar is not worthy of a place in the Grand Floridian. The service was slow and poor, the food was oily and cold, and the atmosphere is cheap and dingy. The tiny sitting area is in the Arcade portion of the room, causing you to listen to the racket of the games while eating. I'd highly recommend eating anywhere else.

Just another snack/sandwich bar? Oh no, this one is in the Grand Floridan! The truth is, we wanted to eat in the cafe, but after one look at the prices we decided to head to Gasparilla. Everything was good and the deli sandwiches are made to order, so that is a big plus. Plenty of games for the kids, (which can be a bit noisy) and a nice view out the window makes for a pleasant location. prices were in the $7 range so our total was around $25. Service was pleasant and prompt, and the entire place was very clean. Also note that you can only enter through an exterior door, not through the hotel lobby, which can be a problem during a downpour. (which we had that day)
