Unfortunately, the Tower
of Terror construction is visible from all around the area, ruining
the forced perspective designed by the clovers and other decor elements
(below).

There are several stands of bamboo around
the area, which as they grow may help to partially block the tower.
Whether they will block the sounds of screaming riders when the tower
opens in 2004 is open to question.
Princess Dot's Puddle Park

The first stop on the clockwise journey is
a water play area, which was the most popular area with the kids by
far. Above: A leaking faucet and hose lead to a giant sprinkler head.

Above: The water sprays in a random pattern
and splashing up from the ground, making it difficult to predict where
the sprays will come from next.
There is so much detail in
this area, and these benches are just one example. These appear
to have been made from used Popsicle sticks, complete with fruit-colored
stains.

Below: The lights in the area are provided
by the friendly fireflies from the movie.

Below: Theming extends even to restroom signs:
note the tiny antenna added to the figures.

Flik's Flyers

Above: The Flik's Fliers ride is 15 seconds
shorter than a trip on Dumbo the Flying Elephant in Disneyland Park.

David Foley, the original voice of Flik, is
re-recording the current narration. You may notice that the other characters
in the area also sound a little different than you might remember.
