| Grand Opening Report - The Line - One |
| Here are some quick shots of the line to enter
the park - this first series of photos shows how they were accommodating
people in the parking structure as they arrived.
A parking ticket as always is given out when you come into the structure.
First of all, you see the most important thing, the potties:
The very cold Cast Members assigning the wristbands to everyone (below).
They didn't bother with any special wristbands, they seem to have been imported from Walt Disney World (below).
Wristband zones were set up, each with a color (below).
These next two shots were taken around midnight.
Once everyone got inside, with their many sleeping bags, they enjoyed free coffee and hot chocolate thanks to the park. Hot dogs were on sale for 3.50. Unlike what had been originally planned - to keep the people as awake as they can - the severe cold during the night (in the 40's) had sort of put a damper on the evening. Spirits were high though. |
