Computer Desktops Images
With a great photographer like Frank on board at MousePlanet we thought it a great opportunity to have him pick through his photographs for some of his favorites. We'll be sharing them in batches with you for use as computer desktops.
First pick a favorite photo from the ones offered below, then match one of the two screen resolutions offered underneath each photo to the settings your monitor uses and click on it. You are taken to a page to get it onto your desktop. [Mac users please see the side bar for instructions.]
The instructions on each page work with Windows computers running most browsers.
Mac users: Choose the resolution size you want, then follow these steps:
1. Click and hold the mouse button on the picture until a menu appears.
2. Select "Save as..." to save the picture to your hard disk.
3. Open the "Appearance" control panel, and select the Desktop tab.
4. Click on the "Place picture" button.
5. Browse to the location where you saved the image. Open it up, then choose the "Set desktop" button.
A lovely new photo background appears.
Special thanks to reader David R. who provided the instructions.
Photos here were taken by Frank Anzalone. They may not be used for any other purpose than as complimentary desktop wallpaper for your personal computer.
