Dining at the Resort

Holiday Dining at the Disneyland Resort

Annual tradition makes resort restaurants extremely popular

Thursday, November 20, 2003
by Adrienne Vincent-Phoenix, staff writer

Not so long ago, you could make reservations for holiday meals at the Disneyland Resort just days in advance. But recent resort expansions, extensive holiday marketing campaign and increased variety of holiday dining options have attracted more and more people to bring their families to the Disney parks and hotels for holiday meals.

This growing trend has resulted in reservations at popular restaurants becoming harder to secure, making it increasingly important to plan ahead. For this reason, many people now make reservations at popular locations like Grand Californian Hotel's Napa Rose and the Disneyland's Blue Bayou before the holiday menus are even announced.

The following Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Eve offerings from around the Disneyland Resort, representing those that were available at the time of publication, will be updated as additional menus become available.

You can make reservations up to 60 days in advance at the Disney-owned eateries, so you must act fast. The non-Disney restaurants have their own policies, so check with the location for details.

Many of these restaurants have already sold out for the actual holiday dates—their menus are listed here for reference. If the location you really had your heart set on is booked, Disney Dining cast members suggest that you keep checking back for possible cancellations.

Finally, you must make reservations for Napa Rose and the Disneyland Hotel's Granville's steak house directly with the restaurants; the Disney Dining line does not accept holiday reservations for these locations.
