Planning Your Trip
Planning a trip to Disneyland is a much simpler task that planning a trip to Walt
Disney World. WDW is so huge that a number of details must be reviewed and decisions
made...just to make hotel reservations! At Disneyland, only three Disney-owned hotels are
currently available. Also, with just two theme parks to be aware of, planning is a much more manageable task.
One of the major issues you'll want to consider when traveling to California to see
Disneyland is how to spend the balance of your time in the area. Universal Studios
Hollywood, The San Diego Zoo, and Knott's Berry Farm (Walter Knott was a good friend of
Walt Disney after Disneyland was built, by the way) are alternatives you might want to
check out.

aspects), planning your day in the parks, and descriptions of the attractions and
restaurants in a highly opinionated fashion (not surprising if you know me at all).
