Very friendly and helpful drivers. A note for those with
limited walking abilities, however - the bus area is still a
distance from the front gate and wheelchair rental station
inside. It's too bad they can't come up closer to drop people
off right in front. |

This was a lovely place, more like a small, more personal
hotel than a motel, with a concierge, beautiful lobby, etc. We
were hoping to stay at the Candy Cane Inn, after hearing so
many positive reviews, but had to choose another place since
the Candy Cane was booked - we were not disappointed.
Our room
was very nice, spacious and comfortable. The vanity area
separate from the bathroom was a nice touch (even though the
bathroom itself was quite tiny), as were the in-room
coffeemaker and the safe deposit box at the front desk. The
staff was very helpful and friendly in answering any questions
we had. Oh, and the sofa was incredibly comfortable to sit
back and relax on at the end of a busy day!

We ordered room service dinner from Millie's on our first
night. The service was good, but the food was just so-so. The
lunch we ate there as we waited for our airport bus was
better. The snack shop Cafasia, on the 3rd floor, is a nice
place to grab a quick snack. |

We didn't use the pool, but it looked very clean and nice,
although quite small in relation to the number of rooms. My
husband checked out the hot tub and said the same thing, that
it was nice, but very small. |

Our only problem was upon leaving for home. We made
reservations with the concierge for our airport shuttle, but apparently
the bus company heard "Marriott" and went to
another Marriott hotel, leaving us waiting for an hour before
a bus finally came. Thankfully I planned to get to the airport
well-ahead of schedule, so we still got there half an hour
before our flight! Whew! : ) But other than that, it was a
very pleasant stay, and although I definitely want to stay at
the Candy Cane Inn next time, I certainly would be very happy
to stay here again in the future.
