Accommodations Review: |
This is an old hotel, and it looks (and smells) like it.
The room is basic, the mattress was lumpy, and the music from
the high school prom was loud (it stopped at midnight).
Fortunately, we only needed the room to sleep. And since we
stayed in the parks until closing, the loud music wasn't too
much of an issue for us. Overall, though, I would highly
recommend spending an additional amount each night to stay in
one of the newer hotels in the area (Park Inn, Days Inn, even
Candy Cane Inn). Several things count against this hotel in
our opinion: no convenient airport shuttle service (you have
to walk to one of the city bus stops to catch the Airport
Bus), the smell of the cleaner when first walking into the
room (kind of like bleach and something else mixed together),
the age of the place, and no park shuttle running. Sure they
are close, but it's still quite a walk especially when you've
spent the entire day in the parks and don't really want to
walk any further than you have to. If our daughter had been
with us, we would have moved to another hotel. |

Pool Description/Comments: |
Very clean and well maintained. Found it interesting to
see cleaning staff vacuuming the green turf "grass" around the
pool. |
Other Comments: |
This hotel was kind of close to the entrance of the theme
parks (only two traffic lights away), but there are closer
hotels (Park Inn, Days Inn). If it's a basic room and you
don't need anything else (shuttles, close to parks, pool),
then this hotel could work for you. If you are used to the
'extras' you get, then find another place like Days Inn, Park
Inn, or Candy Cane
Inn. |
