The Candy Cane is a wonderful motel with a lot of
atmosphere and character. It is a very pretty motel with dark
green wrought iron railings and flowering vines growing up the
railings. Though it is right on Harbor Blvd. and right next to
Disneyland it seems a world away due to it's U shape. The
employees are all well informed and very nice. The continental
breakfast is very nice, displayed well, and in pleasant room
with indoor seating and seating in the pool area. The rooms
are average size but are classy looking with numerous pillows
(in shams) on each bed, A table with two upholstered chairs
and a chandelier above, a large console with a TV and a couple
of drawers. The effect of the decor is that you are in a more
expensive room that is somewhat themed like a resort at Walt
Disney World. There was a slight bit of wear on the wallpaper
next to the chairs. There is not a lot of drawer space for
those who travel heavy. For a single guy though it was
fine. |

The pool though small is in a pleasant garden setting.
There is also a hot tub in a gazebo and a children's wading
pool in the garden. The pool area gets crowded on hot
days. |

This was my second stay here and we will most definitely stay again. The owners should be very
proud. |
