Accommodations Review:

Pretty grounds, very clean. I liked it here, but would not stay again. It is just a basic motel with pretty grounds and fancy bedspreads. The breakfast was nice, but got boring to eat the same thing over and over. Noisy in the early morning. The maids start rolling their carts up and down the walkways at 7am. I didn't feel like we could leave the curtains open and have privacy. Always someone walking past the window. No where to sit outside your room and enjoy the atmosphere. Just not my kind of accommodation. We paid the same here as we did at the Westcoast Anaheim, which is a full service, high rise hotel. I don't think the Candy Cane is worth over $49-59 a night. It is clean and comfortable for a short 2-4 day vacation, but would not stay there longer then that. If you go to this motel, request a room near the front of the buildings. Our room was at the far back and felt like a long walk after a hot day. They also charge $10.00 extra per night for a fridge/microwave. At the other hotel it was $11.00 for the whole stay!

Rate/Night (for your stay):

79.00 plus 10.00 a night for fridge/microwave

Restaurant/Lounge Review:

No restaurant on site, which is something I wish it had. We ordered a lot of pizza because we were too tired to go out to a restaurant. (we did not have a car)

Amenities / Facilities / Activities Available:

Sundries Shop, Pool, Laundry, Cooking Facilities, Handicapped Accessible Rooms Available, Non-Smoking Rooms Available, Smoke Detectors, Fire Sprinklers

Pool Description/Comments:

Small, but nice. It was perfectly heated, not too hot or cold. Kiddie wading pool was nice too. The hot tub is in a gazebo.

Other Comments:

I wouldn't stay here again unless the bigger hotels were sold out. We got more value for our money at a bigger hotel. The staff here were also quite clueless to questions we asked about the area. It is a very nice, clean little motel, but nothing more. It seemed to be one of the nicest motels in the area.
