Park Shuttle Comments: |
Although a shuttle was advertised, I never used it as it
was only a five minute walk to the gates. Therefore, I am not
sure if the shuttle goes to Disneyland or just other area
parks. |

Accommodations Review: |
Since I was traveling alone, I got the luxury of a king
size bed. I also happened to be traveling during a slow time
of year, so the place seemed almost empty, and was, therefore,
very quiet. The room was nice, but nothing to write home
about. I was grateful for the in-room coffee maker and it was
nice to see that an iron and ironing board were provided.
(But,
if you're ironing on vacation, it seems to me you've missed
the point.) The bathroom was a little small, even for just one
person, but the water was hot and the water pressure was
excellent (something that can't be said for all hotels).
Overall, it is a very pleasant place to stay and I would
probably stay here again. |

Restaurant/Lounge Review: |
There is a Tony Roma's right next door and on-site there
are a take out Chinese place and a take out pizza and pasta
place. I only ate at the pizza place, and even then I only had
a slice of cheese pizza. It wasn't bad. Typical pseudo-New
York style pizza. There is also a complimentary continental
breakfast out by the pool every morning. Nothing
exciting-fruit, toast, Danish, muffins, juice, and coffee-but
enough to hold you over until the breakfast crowds at the
parks have dispersed. |

Pool Description/Comments: |
I never actually used the pool, but it looked really nice.
It was shaped like a big "S" (for Saga, I would assume) and
never seemed to be very crowded. |

When I first arrived, my phone wasn't working. Although it
took some time to get it repaired, everyone was very nice
about it and did what they could to get it repaired as quickly
as possible. They also let me use the desk phone to make calls
until my phone was working again. I had a friend come down to
join me on Wednesday, and the folks at the hotel were nice
enough to let him park his car in the hotel lot for the day,
thus saving him the $8.00 he would have had to pay to park at
the park. The staff was very kind and courteous and did
everything in their power to make my stay uneventful and
pleasant. |
