We stayed in a 4 bedroom condo. The main section was a 2
bedroom with kitchen,2 baths, dining area, and living
room. There was a screened in porch off living area as well as
one bedroom. The lower attached 3 bedroom had a kitchen and
screened porch. The upper/loft attached bedroom had a
screened in porch. All rooms but 1 had whirlpool tubs, 1 was
extremely large, large enough for 2-3 people. When we got
there, our condo overlooked the lake, not a very impressive
sight. No activity on the lake and wasn't nicely landscaped. As
we checked the rooms, we noticed in one bedroom that the glass
partition between the shower and whirlpool tub was shattered
with little glass shavings in both areas (how housekeeping
could have missed this we do not know) We contacted
management, who came up to check it out as well as the
maintenance manager. Both agreed that housekeeping should have
noticed, unless they did it them selves. They were unable to
replace the glass and needed to find us another room. This
took 6 hours. During this time, we had been up since 4:00 am
and it was 3:00 pm when we checked in. We went out to dinner
and came back around 8:00 and our new room was still not
found. When they did finally find a room, our Service
Representative did nothing to help us move our luggage! Just
stood around as we packed everything onto 2 carts (there were
10 people staying with us so we could have used his help) and
the new room was 2 buildings away! Finally in, we were all
satisfied b/c the new room overlooked the best pool with a
very pretty design! The rest of our stay was wonderful, until
we stopped in to buy an additional ticket to a park the day
before we left at 10:00am and were informed we had to move and
be out by 12:00 noon b/c the owners of our room were coming in
that afternoon!! Needless to say we were not very happy to be
moving again, let alone finding out with 2 hours for 10 of us
to pack up everything, including food, and move AGAIN! Had we
not stopped down for tickets, who knows how much time we would
have had to move. We complained to management (Wayne), who did
nothing for us over the phone and when we stopped down to the
front desk, avoided us by having his staff first say he was on
a 10 minute break and when he found out what room we were from
stating he was in a meeting. Finally, they agreed to let us
stay in our room with a later check out time the next day and
stated he would deal with the owners. Overall our stay was
enjoyable. Had it not been for our first day and our ending
days it would have been perfect. |

The Fisherman's Cove was very good. All you can eat crab
for $20.00. Wait staff very attentive and provided excellent
service. No meals under $17.00, but all very good. There is a
deli on sight as well, did not eat there. Pizza hut on sight,
delivers but charges a lot! Only has pan crust and a few
specialty pizzas. Quite pricey as well. |

I think there were 4 pools, but we only used one! Very
nice, large, heated with 2 hot tubs on either side! Many kid
activities in the mornings with toys to borrow while they play
during the day as well. |
