Accommodations Review:

There were many vacation homes located in this
subdivision, all owned by the same company. The homes are new,
anywhere from one to four years old. Our home was very clean and
well maintained. We had three bedrooms plus a den with a pull out
sofa and a closet. One bedroom had two twin beds, one had a double
and the master bedroom had a king bed and doors leading to the
pool area. There were 2 1/2 baths. One bath had a door to the
pool. The master bath featured a walk-in closet, whirlpool tub,
huge shower stall, double basin, and a separate commode area.
There was ceramic tile in all bathrooms and in the kitchen. The
kitchen was fully equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, garbage
disposer, and tons of other stuff. There was a nook with seating
for four and a formal dining area with room for six. There were
two TVs, one in the master bedroom and one with a VCR in the
living room. Also included was a washer, dryer, iron, and ironing
board in the garage. There's plenty more to mention and everything
was in excellent working order. The home was everything the
company led us to expect and then some! |

Pool Description/Comments:
|
It was great having a pool all to ourselves! The
pool had steps leading into a three or four foot section sloping
down to about seven feet at the other end. There was also a hot
tub, which we were not expecting. The pool was screened-in, which
provides UV protection and keeps out the larger-type bugs and
critters. The subdivision is surrounded by a conservation area and
we were warned of possible encounters with wildlife. (We saw only
one very small lizard climbing up the screen. Whew!) We requested
a BBQ grill and had lots of patio furniture, including a table and
cushioned chairs and a few chaise lounges. The pool could have
been heated for an extra fee but it was okay in May without heat.
The pool was very well kept and the landscaping in the backyard
was nice. |

The staff at Affordable Florida was very friendly
and helpful both before and during our stay. There was a lot of
very active construction going on here that we noticed on a quick
drive around the subdivision. Many new homes are going up. Some
people do live here year round but not too many yet, from what I
could see. Anyhow, the home was just what we needed for our budget
and for our small children. We were at the house from about 12 to
4 PM everyday for naps etc. Even though I'm a Disney fanatic, I'd
rather stay home than spend a week in one hotel room with three
kids under the age of six! :) This house was perfect. |
