We were arriving in Orlando late and needed a place to sleep for one
night. We had stayed at this location when it was the Comfort Inn Maingate
and hated it, but I was assured by the staff that it had been renovated
inside and out. When we get in the room we immediately smell that horrible
musty odor. The furniture is worn and the wall behind the sink was
completely warped and rusted. We were tired and we didn't feel like
running around looking for another hotel, so we stayed. Big Mistake! The
bed was horrible and it made me feel itchy. I woke up around 5 AM to use
the bathroom and the mother of all cockroaches was crossing the room. I
got my family up and we left at that time. The only answer from the man at
the front desk about the roach : "We do fumigate every month, I guess
one got away." That was it, no apology. I am sorry, but we live in
Florida, and where there is one cockroach there are several others. Our
advice: Stay away from this one. |
