Located very close to Walt Disney World Resort-only
1 mile to maingate. Very convenient & usually takes less than
5 minutes. When Leaving the WDW Parks You exit to US192 West which
is to the right (Majority of traffic heads East which is also
nice.)

Poor! Room was dirty, so we left went to Magic
Kingdom & they cleaned . We came back to change & found we
had ants. We complained & they said leave the room we'll
spray. The next day we found ants again. This went on for 5 days
total. Each time they said they would spray. Now, we live in
Florida & get monthly pest control, but I have never seen an
ant, or any bug in my home! motel management accused us of eating
in the room, but we never did (all we had was soda & water in
refrigerator). No I don't think they ever sprayed. Or if
they did it wasn't strong enough. We tried to find another
(different motel) room, but none available due to the time of year
(Labor Day). We also asked to be moved to a different room, but
there were no vacancies.
I was sneezing a lot when I was in the room & not while out
of the room. I looked inside the air-conditioner, I saw pet hairs.
Apparently they let people bring their pets in. The motel
management staff swore up & down they USED to BUT NO LONGER
allow it!! Seems to me it still goes on. I demanded they switch my
room And I finally got that on Thursday, 5 days into our vacation.
When we checked out they had credited us 1 free night.
I will mention that my husband & I had stayed in this motel
without any problems since 1992. We always had a clean room and No
bugs. And since it was a nice, decent, inexpensive motel we did
stay a few times a year.
We couldn't believe this was the same motel we had stayed at in
June 14-16, 1998. It was a 100% change for the worse!
We are really disappointed about that.
New management has taken over & the place was renovated,
but it does not look like it was. The total motel is shabby &
worn. The restaurant & lobby are also shabby & worn, They
both smell of cigarettes & stale air.
The rooms are not at all like the pictures in the Comfort Inn
directory. |

(which has not been in paper since October.) I also think this had
a lot to do with the way they handled our situation. Room rates
vary usually $38.00-75.00. |

Food is just okay in Comfy Cafe. Better to eat
outside plenty of restaurants on US192. |

Overall Hotel Very Poor. We will never stay there
again.
I do sometimes think staying outside of WDW is the way to go if
you are on a budget, or want to stay a few days longer.
Personally I can't see paying $100.00 a night just to sleep. Plus
since I am a Floridian I do like to go up to WDW more than once a
year. So to do that I kind of have to have a slight budget. |
