Location:

On SR 192 about a mile from WDW. |
Ease of WDW Park Access:
|
Very easy, take a right out of the parking lot, go
about 1 mile, exit the highway and you're there. We had a
rental car, the hotel had a FREE shuttle to Disney attractions.
I'm not sure what kind of schedule it was, because we had our own
car. |

Accommodations Review:

This was a budget/tourist hotel. Nothing was special
about it, not that we were expecting anything too special for
$38/night! Rooms had 2 double beds, one TV, bathtub & toilet
in bathroom, sink area outside bathroom. Only problem with that
was that it wasn't a separate area, sink was right next to one of
the beds! The rooms weren't dirty per say, but they could have
used a face lift. The bathroom was the worst kept up I think. The
floor looked like it needed a good scrubbing, the water pressure
in the shower was unbearable, I could barely rinse the shampoo
from my hair. The rest of the room was adequate, but small. As we
were also staying onsite at Disney on the same trip, we chose this
place to save some money for the first few nights. We were never
really in the hotel much as we planned tons of activities for
those days. If you plan on spending a lot of time in your hotel, I
wouldn't recommend staying here as you may be disappointed. We're
talking basic accommodations. |
Rate/Night (for your stay):
|
Very affordable, Travel agent got us $38/night
including taxes! |
# of Restaurants/Lounges:
|

Breakfast 7-11, Dinner from 5:30-10. Lounge open daily from
5pm-2am. |
Restaurant/Lounge Review:
|
Never ate there, but we peered in and it looked
nice! We brought breakfast snacks to Florida with us so that we
could save money and time on breakfast. For dinner we usually ate
someplace at Disney. |
Activities/Facilities Available:
|
Sundries shop, small convenience shop (we bought
milk for our little cereals, soda, an occasional ice cream bar,
some water etc. on a daily basis) outdoor pool, pool bar, towels
at pool. |
Pool Description/Comments:
|
We used the pool a few times. Nothing too special,
but adequate and clean (no special landscaping), pool chairs and
towels provided. There was a pool bar that also served snacks
(hamburgers/hotdogs) open limited hours usually in afternoon. |
Amenities Provided:
|
Basic necessities (towels & soap), No pets
permitted, cable TV w/limited channels, tickets to area
attractions sold in the lobby, wake up calls, ice
machines/buckets, laundry area near pool. |
Other Comments:
|
Any phone call you made from your room was a flat
charge of .75 cents. Even if you were using a calling card. When I
needed to use the phone, I went to the lobby and used the pay
phones, if I was making a local call it cost a quarter and if I
was using my calling card, there were no extra charges like in the
room.
Suggestions if you are staying here: We found the layout of the
place to be a little confusing. We stayed on an inside corridor,
which meant a LOT of lugging with your luggage. You should most
definitely request a room where you can park your car just outside
the door (ask for an outside room). I found that the rooms near
the pool must have been disturbed by loud noises from the pool
area. I would request a room AWAY from the pool. I wouldn't worry
about being too far away, at most anywhere in the motel, it would
take you a max of 2 minutes to walk to the pool. Check in looked
to be VERY crowded in the late afternoon, early evening hours, you
might want to avoid that time if you have a choice.
