Very clean and well furnished. All rooms feature

Food was good and reasonably priced. Large portions.
Small drinks for the price, but made very strong (lots of
alcohol-served by 3 different bartenders at 3 different times). |

2 large pools with hot tubs nearby. Also, Liki Tiki
Lagoon features a wonderful kiddie play area great for any kids
under about 12-13 (wouldn't impress teens). This area includes
wave pool, slides, waterfall 'mushroom', dancing jets out of the
ground, an 'erupting' volcano and has the bar/grill poolside. Also
here is a kiddie pool. |

Other Comments:

- A great place for a family to stay.
- There are activities for the kids and the entire family.
- The staff was caring and very courteous.
- My son bought a camera from the gift shop (a cheapie) that
broke on us the first day he used it. We took it back for an
exchange and were given another camera, five rolls of film,
the money back for the initial purchase and $5 of tokens for
the game room.
- There is a gated entrance and a security patrol.
- The room we were in connected to a larger 2 BR which could
easily sleep another 6-8 people (total of 10-12 for both
rooms), yet our room was roomy and didn't seem like the
smaller part of a combo.
- Tip-if you are traveling on a budget, book through Island
One 800-892-7523 (the owner of this property) and take the
tour. It is a timeshare, but they were not pushy or ugly to us
once we declined to take part in their program. They did ask
us to refer any friends that may be interested to their resort
and included a free breakfast, free backpack filled with
goodies (disposable camera, Gatorland tickets, 30 min. phone
card, etc). We were very pleased with all aspects of our stay.
