The pool was plain, not themed, but nice.
There was always a crowd during the mid-afternoon, but the pool
was large enough to handle it. There were too few lounges |

To conserve Vacation Club points, we stayed off-site
the first night at Comfort Inn Lake Buena Vista. The hotel
isn't anything to get too excited about. It was
a decent room, but just a typical room. The price was
reasonable, even with all of the local and Florida taxes, and it
was close to WDW. The hotel also had a sundries shop
and a restaurant, both of which did a hefty business (at least
every time we were in the lobby, which wasn't often).
We were able to check in right after lunch time (about 1pm)
even though the normal check in time wasn't until 3pm.
The crib that we were given was functional, but a bit on the
fragile side. Whenever our 25 pound little guy stood
up and walked about inside the crib, it tended to move around a
lot. It never really seemed unsafe, just not completely
sturdy. We did have to make up the crib bedding ourselves (a
standard sheet was provided) but that's not unusual at motels. |
