Park Shuttle was available all day through 8:30 pm. A
reservation to use the shuttle was required 24 hours in
advance, but we used it without a reservation and without
problem! |

Our family of 3 occupied the 'Kidsuite' which consists of
a combined living room/kitchenette supplied with microwave,
small fridge, coffee maker, coffee, paper towels, small table
w/couple of chairs. Living area has a pull out couch and
swivel/rocking chair, 27 in. TV w/VCR. Good size bathroom,
lots of towels and plenty of storage space for toiletries,
lighted makeup mirror & hairdryer.
Children's bedroom is
equipped with 25in. TV, VCR, Nintendo 64, phone, individual
speakers for each bed, bunk beds and pull out bed, children's
table w/chairs. This room is small but adequate. My daughter
loved the way it was decorated in a outer space theme with
murals on the walls.
Each Kidsuite has a themed children's
room for example, jungle theme, A&W root beer theme. The
master bedroom was of good size, king bed, nice mirrored
closet, built in drawers, 25 in TV, ceiling fan, desk/vanity
w/lighted makeup mirror and hairdryer, ironing board and iron.
Suitcases fit under bed. The room's decor was well appointed,
draperies were very attractive as well as furniture and
carpets.
Our room was spotlessly maintained. I felt as if
everything was brand new and this resort is now 2 years old.
We felt very comfortable here. The walls were soundproof. They
offer adjoining rooms if needed. Do request that you get pool
view and that your room is located close to the lobby. This is
an extensively large property and you can find yourself
located in a far away spot if you are not careful.

This hotel has a lot to offer. There was pizza hut,
A&W offering hotdogs, hamburgers, etc., Eddy's Ice Cream
parlor, a convenient store open till 12 am with everything
from chips and dip to beer and donuts, then there is a big
restaurant offering a buffet for dinner which was delicious!
It included roast beef, pasta, salad bar, breads, rolls, mac
& cheese, BBQ chicken, and more! You can also order
ala-carte and room service for any of the above. The Buffet was $15.95 pp and kids eat free! They also have a nice bar.
Breakfast is included. This is a full breakfast buffet which
is well worth its weight in the price of the room! The food
was plentiful and there was a wide range for ex: scrambled
eggs, French toast, pancakes, muffins, cereal, bagel, toast,
bacon, sausage, home fries, juices, milk, coffee, etc... They
also have a convenient snack bar at poolside offering hot
dogs, hamburgers, salads, nachos, drinks, ice cream etc! |

Pool Description/Comments: |
This was the best pool I have ever swam in! It is a zero
depth pool which means you can sit your toddler down at the
edge and wade in! There are sprinklers, animal statues,
fountains, sprays, waterfalls, etc. throughout! This pool is
mammoth in size and creative in shape! There were a lot of
people staying at the hotel and using the pool, but we never
felt crowded. The pool patio area is also huge in size, with
more than enough furniture, towels, umbrellas etc. They rent
cool floats of all different shapes and sizes for kids and
adults to use. There was a playroom for the kids to watch TV,
movies, and play w/toys, read books, puzzles and Legos all
supplied by the hotel and located at poolside.
Also crafts are
available, painting coconuts, making picture frames and animal
puppets for example. Our daughter made a cute birdhouse out of
a coconut! This cost $6.99 and they offered to babysit her
while she worked on it which was included in the fee! They
sell floats and beach paraphernalia, clothing etc. here too!
Shuffleboard was a big hit, as was miniature golf which was
located at poolside and free for everyone. Huge 10 foot animal
statues adorned the golf area and were very entertaining to
look at and to play. Also in this area, were two ping pong
tables, very popular as well! Music was always playing and the
staff was very visible! They were always looking for babies
not wearing the proper swim diapers - this was strictly
enforced!
There are two Jacuzzi's right near by, one was
hotter than the other so the kids could enjoy them too. In
another part of the pool area, there was a fenced-in little
kids pool with a huge umbrella over it to keep the sun away,
it had a sprinkler in it and was only 1 or 2 feet deep. Beside
that was a large climbing structure with tunnels and slides!
The entire pool area is well secured and very clean! We loved
it!

Other Comments: |
This hotel was a hit with our whole family which totaled
10 of us ranging in age from adults, to teens, to little 5 and
3 year olds! We were all happy with the service and
facilities! Did I mention that they also have a pond that is
lit w/party lights and has live animals, birds, ducks,
turtles, and fish - all of which you can feed for $0.25! Even
the fish jump out of the water to eat! There is an alligator
statue in the middle that looks real! We enjoyed standing out
there after breakfast! There is a train that takes the kids
for a ride around the resort and while we were there they
offered professional photography with a free 5X7!
Every night
they had family karaoke, some nights family bingo and magic
shows. We attended them all and thoroughly enjoyed this
entertainment after a long day at the park, we had so much to
look forward to when we returned to the hotel, that we
actually stayed all day, an extra day, cutting out a park that
was initially planned for that day! We cannot recommend this
resort enough! It was fun, clean, and entertaining - not to
mention very comfortable and even delicious! If you are
traveling with kids, this is the
place!
