Accommodations Review:

My husband and I had never stayed at a bed and
breakfast and were afraid we would feel like we were staying in
someone's home. This was FAR from the case! Perrihouse, unlike
other B&Bs in the area, was built as a bed and breakfast with
the guests in mind. Each room has a private entrance from the
outside as well as an interior door which opens to the library.
This allowed for as much privacy as we wanted.
Our room featured a jungle theme with a stuffed parrot perched
in the corner as well as floral patterns and a parrot print. Our
room featured a king sized four poster bed, 6 drawer dresser, two
night stands, table and chairs, ceiling fan, closet, full bath
with hair dryer and wonderful Perrihouse soap, and the phone does
feature a data port. We looked at some of the other rooms to find
some feature dual queen beds, and one offers a queen bed and two
twin beds perfect for the kids.
The library features a fireplace, sofas and chairs, and tons of
books featuring local wildlife. While on property we saw rabbits,
tons of birds, squirrels, etc. It definitely makes you feel
secluded and peaceful even though you are only 2 minutes from
Downtown Disney.
Jimmy prepares breakfast every morning which was better than
any hotel continental breakfast we have ever had. Tons of fresh
fruit, fresh muffins, bagels, and pastries, as well as coffee,
juice, cereal, and the normal stuff.
The fridge is available for guests to store any snacks. There
is a Goodings grocery store close if you need anything.
Each room has a table and chairs outside each room complete
with ashtray for smokers. I am not a smoker, but hubby is and it
was very convenient for him.
There is lots of ground surrounding the B&B for those
romantic, evening walks. Wooden porch swings are also scattered
around the property for some quiet time.
We were also able to see the Shuttle launch from a distance. |
