Ease of WDW Park Access:

We went by car to Downtown Disney/Pleasure Island
area. Basically just across the street and down a little bit. VERY
close and easy to get to the resort area. We had already done the
parks when we stayed here so I can't say about access to them but
I have to assume it's easy. You would just go on further into the
resort area. |

Accommodations Review:
|
First of all the place is VERY clean! Also pretty
new looking. There are 3 floors and believe me if you are on the
3rd floor as we were with suitcases it is tough! There are stairs
and all the entrances are on the outside. One bedroom has a king
size bed and it's own bathroom. Also a TV and telephone in there.
There is a safe near the bathroom area which is where you can hang
clothes and they have one of those suitcase racks. The other
bedroom has 2 double beds and it's own bathroom and TV and phone.
The decor is really nice and modern looking. The living room has a
couch (I don't know if it pulls out although if the room sleeps 8
it must) and a chair. There is a small little entertainment center
with a TV that is bolted down. No way to easily hook up our 8mm
camcorder to watch tape from that day. There is also a VCR. Behind
the living room is the kitchen which has everything you need.
Microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, dishes, etc. There is a
little table with a couple chairs to sit and eat at too. We found
it all kinda cramped together but not bad. |
Rate/Night (for your stay):
|
Well we won 2 free nights off their website but I
believe the rate is about $159 although they do run specials
frequently. |
# of Restaurants/Lounges:
|
Not really any restaurants per se. They have a
little deli/snack store that you can buy some food at and sit at
some tables they have set up inside. |

Amenities Provided:
|
Nice towels, shampoo provided, cable TV, mostly non
smoking rooms, iron/board, movie rentals, voicemail on phone, free
schedule shuttle (we didn't use it), in room safe, complimentary
newspaper at your door in am, free continental breakfast, area
restaurant delivery (they had a brochure of area places with menus
you can order from and they deliver it for a fee) |
Other Comments:
|
I want to comment on their continental breakfast.
They serve this inside the main building across from the gift
shop, etc. You have a little note on your refrigerator of what is
served each day of the week although it doesn't differ much.
Basically muffins, cereal, bagels, fruit, beverages, pastries. You
can order a Belgian waffle or an omelet (nice sized both) for
around $2 or so, I can't remember. Worth it to get this. You can
either eat inside or they have tables in the courtyard on the
other side of the pool to sit outside, some are shaded some not.
Overall we were really happy at this place. Even though we got it
for free we felt it would be a nice place to stay maybe for one of
their special rates. I don't like paying $159 a night! The
location is excellent for the parks that's for sure! |
