Ease of WDW Park Access:
|
It is an easy trip to WDW although I wouldn't stay
my entire vacation at this hotel. It is approximately 30 minutes
drive by car from the south exit of the airport. It is called the
Greenway and is the most direct route to WDW. There are two toll
booths costing one dollar each. I've never encountered much
traffic as I've used this route many times. You exit at the
LBV exit. |

Accommodations Review:

It was a standard size room, with a king size bed.
There was a large desk with extra phone jacks for your laptop.
There were two telephones, desk and bedside. The room was
spotlessly clean and neat. There was also a filled candy
dish by the bed, which I thought was very nice. There was a remote
TV with a large selection of pay-per-view movies. The bathroom was
well laid out and well equipped.
Soaps, shampoo, plenty of soft towels, and even a coffee maker
with a coffee supply of both regular and decaf was included. Tea
bags were also supplied.
A telephone was also by the toilet. I had asked for a view of
the airport runway and was not disappointed! For those of you
thinking the room would be noisy, think again! This was the
quietest room I ever had, no noise from the outside and no noise
from the halls or the other rooms. |
Rate/Night (for your stay):

A special price from their website $99 for the
night. |

Restaurant/Lounge Review:
|
I did not use or seek out the restaurants or
lounges, although several are available at the hotel. You also
have the airport restaurants available. |
Activities/Facilities Available:
|
There is a small pool with whirlpool that I did not
use. A fitness center is also available. Towels are provided
for the pool at the fitness center, next to the pool. The pool
area was nicely decorated with live plants and a fountain. It
appeared to be well maintained. |

A unique feature that was supposed to be provided, I
was very disappointed. While you check in at the front desk,
the bellhops are supposed to get your luggage from the airport.
That service was never provided nor offered. I even hinted to the
desk clerk when he asked where my luggage was. It was a long trek
to the baggage claim area.
For a late arrival or first day of your vacation, the Hyatt MCO
is a great way to start your stay in Orlando. I was booked at the
Boardwalk Villas for over $200 per night and the $99 first night
at the Hyatt saved me money and time. I would not stay
at the Hyatt for my entire stay as on-site is much more
convenient. I highly recommend staying at the Hyatt MCO overall. |
