Server was there in about five minutes
to take our order. Salads came out about five minutes later, and
entrees about 10-15 minutes after that. |
Food Review:
|
I LOVE the Mardi Gras dinner salad
here! It has carmelized pecans on it--YUM! The bleu cheese
dressing is excellent. My husband loves the clam chowder here. I
usually split the Monte Cristo sandwich with my hubby. It is very
heavy, but good. It always comes with fruit that is perfectly
ripened. The chocolate mousse is divine. |
Service Review:
|
Excellent. I have eaten here at least
twenty times, and I have never had bad service. |
Atmosphere Review:
|
Great ambiance--very unique and
romantic. The restaurant is in the middle of the Pirates of the
Caribbean ride. It is dark and has Japanese lanterns hanging
everywhere. And of course, excellent views of the bayou portion of
the Pirates ride. If you are sitting by the water, you will see
the P of C boats going by only a few feet away. Often the riders
will wave, or call out, "How's your lunch?" or something
similar. |

This is my all time favorite
restaurant! I can't go to Disneyland without eating here. A tip:
The hostess seats people in the order they made their
reservation--NOT in the order they show up to eat. If you want to
sit by the water, make your reservation EARLY (as soon as the park
opens). |
