Food Review: |
In the 30+ years my family and/or I
have been going to Disneyland, we have never been to the Plaza
Inn, a decision we regretted after eating there. I had the
fried chicken and was very impressed. The chicken was hot,
juicy and very flavorable (is that a word?). The biscuit was
exactly as I like them, fluffy and warm. I've never been a big
coleslaw fan, so I gave it to my father, who enjoyed it. While
I was at first disappointed at the small number of potato
wedges, the fact that the meal filled me up so well erased
that. I couldn't even finish them. My father had the Turkey
Kettle Pastry and absolutely loved it. If it hadn't filled him
up so well, he would have gone back for another one. He described
it as an "inside out turkey pot pie". Alyca (the
lovely woman who paid for my day) had a salad and the fruit
cobbler type desert which she didn't get much of (the desert)
as the rest of us proceeded to attack it with our forks. Very
tasty. I don't recall what the rest of our party had, but I
know they enjoyed it. |
Service Review: |
Not really much to speak of, since
we did most of our own work getting the food. The woman behind
the chicken counter looked pretty bored and inattentative,
which worked in my favor when I snagged an extra biscuit for
my dad. |
Atmosphere Review: |
Absolutely lovely. The stained glass
and decorative effects inside were gorgeous and perfectly
reflected the atmosphere of Main Street. I felt very good and
comfortable in there. |

Will definitely be going back here.
Good food and better atmosphere. As I said earlier, I'm just
sad I had never gone
before. |
