Food Review: |
After consulting with out waitress,
it became obvious that it would be difficult to top our
preferred dishes (the Ribs and the Sea Bass; SEE MY LAST
REVIEW). So we had the same selections but supplemented them
with the Asparagus Soup and the Shiitake Mushroom Soup. The
Shiitake Mushroom soup is prepared in the same way as cream of
mushroom but throws in bits of Shiitake mushroom which I
believe were stir-fried in butter with a very small pinch of
garlic. It makes a more "meaty" soup since Shiitake has a more
al dente consistency. The Asparagus Soup was a broth (not a
cream soup) and had a nice clean flavor which helped soothe my
wife's cold. Both are recommended. I would caution anyone on
ordering these soups if they are also going for the entrees I
mentioned earlier because the combination makes for a heavy
meal that may leave little room for dessert. |
Service Review: |
Our waitress was prompt, gave us
excellent attention, and was knowledgeable about the
dishes. |
Atmosphere Review: |
The grill was particularly quiet
since it was well after the regular lunch hours. This made it
very pleasant. (SEE ALSO MY PREVIOUS REVIEW) |
