Food Review: |
The food at the Pizza Planet restaurant
are very much out of the 'fast food' tradition, but
with a little twist. We all had the Pizza Burger with fries, a
interesting idea. Both the top half and the bottom half of the
burger bun had a Pizza topping, making an instant Cheese /
Tomato / Ham relish for the burger. It was a tasty treat with
a good sized burger and interesting sauce. But be warned with
the sauce / cheese and Pizza topping it can be a little
greasy, watch out for the drips. It came with the usual crispy
thin fries, again usual fast food standard. Only I had a
dessert, a basic slice of Lemon Pie, nothing special, but
passable. |
Service Review: |
Service at the time of our visit
was quick, but I have been here and seen very long queues. You
can let the kids run wild in the small play area while you
wait so it can be quite tolerable for them. |
Atmosphere Review: |
This place has bags of atmosphere,
but also lots of kids, which therefore make it a noisy
experience. If the weather is fine, head for the tables
outside, a much better bet for the adult only groups. If you
have kids then you will need to say indoors, as this place is
a pretty good play area as well as a fast food joint. You will
often see Buzz or Woody around, and there is an opportunity to
have your photo taken with them (at an extra cost) |
Other Comments: |
This is a great place to take the
kids to eat, no need to worry about their behavior or the
noise they can make. One thing to note, this is a temporary
building, cunningly disguised to look permanent, this is most
obvious when you go to use the rest rooms. My advice is don't
use them, if you can wait until later and use the next nearest
inside Videopolis - you have been
warned. | |
