Food Review: |
The food here is 'American' in
style, but it is not a total success. While the food is good
and very enjoyable, I think it would be fair to say that
Americans expecting the usual US fare will be disappointed. The
menu has Burgers, Ribs, etc all served with fries / salads,
various salads and sandwiches. There is also an excellent
value set menu for 119FF for 3 courses. All three of us had
the set menu. We all selected the Chicken and Corn soup, very
thick and creamy if a touch salty. I had Salmon with Rice and Vegetables, the others had a large Salad with mixed meats and
Ribs with fries. We all had the Cherries in Kirch with Vanilla
Ice Cream for dessert. The food was very good, hot and
tasty. |
Service Review: |
The service was patchy, one server
being excellent the other poor. Overall it was acceptable, we
were served quickly and the order was correct. |
Atmosphere Review: |
The style of the restaurant is that
of an up market New York Diner, and it really works. Large
paintings of American breakfasts and desserts grace the walls.
The kitchen is an open design so you can watch the people at
work. |

A nice place to eat away from the
busy park. This is a small and cozy place that gets very full,
make a reservation. The same menu is served at lunchtimes in
the Manhattan restaurant next door (see my
