- Time of Year: Spring
- Travel Method: Plane, Rental Car
- Resort: BWR, Offsite
- Accommodations: Standard Room
- Ages Represented in Group: Infant, Pre-School,
Adult
- WDW Experience Represented in Group: Frequent,
- Comments: Noreen and Paul take us back in time
a bit with this very detailed report of 10 days in Florida.
Things are only made the merrier by the company of friends and
family throughout the trip.
- Time of Year: Spring
- Travel Method: Plane, Rental Car
- Resort: Offsite
- Accommodations: Standard Room
- Ages Represented in Group: Adult
- WDW Experience Represented in Group: Infrequent,
Rookie
- Comments: This is a shorter play-by-play
report, but a fun one to read. Sandy tacked on some WDW
time to a business trip that she had to the Orlando area.
She took her two sons with her, and the three of them enjoyed
a nice six day trip.
- Time of Year: Spring
- Travel Method: Plane, Personal Car (Joe and
his wife were "limoed" by their Daughter and Son-in-Law)
- Resort: Offsite
- Ages Represented in Group: Toddler, Adult
- WDW Experience Represented in Group: Veteran,
Frequent
- Comments: Joe and Betty met up with their
daughter and Son-in-Law (and two-and-a-half year old grandson)
for a five day visit. They took in the parks at a very
slow pace, but one that was perfect for veteran visitors.
If you want to really see how to visit the parks on YOUR schedule,
this is a good example trip report.
- Time of Year: Spring
- Travel Method: Plane, Shuttle Service
- Resort: CSR
- Accommodations: Standard Room
- Ages Represented in Group: Adult
- WDW Experience Represented in Group: Veteran,
Infrequent
- Comments: This is a very quick report
describing a six day trip. Catherine and the rest of her
party (Lynne and Janet joined her for this visit) enjoyed their
stay at Coronado Springs. The report covers the whole
trip and is written in an abbreviated play-by-play style with
some nice descriptions of the room at the resort and other such
details.
- Time of Year: Spring
- Travel Method: Plane, Shuttle Service
- Resort: ASMuR
- Accommodations: Standard Room
- Ages Represented in Group: Adult
- WDW Experience Represented in Group: Infrequent,
Rookie
- Comments: Angela visited WDW for the first
time to meet a pen pal that she'd been writing to for several
years. The report is a brief (Angela calls it "trip
report lite") summary of the whole trip, but has some fun
comparisons between Disneyland and Walt Disney World.
- Time of Year: Spring
- Travel Method: Plane, Rental Car
- Resort: DL, PO
- Accommodations: Standard Room
- Ages Represented in Group: Adult, Senior
- WDW Experience Represented in Group: Infrequent,
Rookie
- Comments: Elizabeth states it well
"First, a warning. This will be another epic trip report...This
will not be a hit-and-run report. This will be a Micheneresque
work, with extreme detail--so, if you don't have time to read,
don't start this report!" Enjoy!
- Time of Year: Spring
- Travel Method: Plane, Shuttle Service
- Resort: ASMoR
- Accommodations: Standard Room
- Ages Represented in Group: Elementary, Adult
- WDW Experience Represented in Group: Infrequent
- Comments: Sharon and her son Evan enjoyed
a week long stay at the All Star Movies Resort in late May.
This is a VERY detailed play-by-play report punctuated with
a great summary at the end. I'm sure you'll enjoy it!
- Time of Year: Spring
- Travel Method: Personal Car
- Resort: Offsite
- Accommodations: Standard Room, Suite
- Ages Represented in Group: Elementary, Adult
- WDW Experience Represented in Group: Frequent
- Comments: Lisa's report is a great play-by-play
on her family's trip. The Willis's stayed at the Holiday
Inn Family Suites for most of the trip, so the details of how
to enjoy WDW from offsite are clearly explained. One day,
Lisa's daughter Brittani got hurt at Blizzard Beach. If
you ever wondered how Disney responds to medical problems, make
sure you read day eight!
- Time of Year: Spring
- Travel Method: Personal Car
- Resort: Offsite, OKWR, CSR
- Accommodations: Standard Rooms
- Ages Represented in Group: Adult
- WDW Experience Represented in Group: Veteran,
DVC Member
- Comments: This report describes Sue's
5th trip to WDW this year already. I'm so jealous, I think
I might just move to Florida to see if I can show her up.
Not likely (until retirement), but a nice dream. In any
case, Sue does a great job, as always, of describing the trip
and what to do and not do when you're enjoying everything that
Walt Disney World has to offer. Thanks for another great
report, Sue!
- Time of Year: Spring
- Travel Method: Plane, Rental Car
- Resort: Dolphin
- Accommodations: Standard Room (Club Level,
Concierge)
- Ages Represented in Group: Adults
- WDW Experience Represented in Group: Frequent
- Comments: Maria and her husband left
the kids home for this trip. They stayed at the Dolphin.
That alone makes this a very unusual report (I have one Swan
report, this is the first Dolphin one). The report is
a play-by-play style. It's fun to read, and filled with
tons of information!
- Time of Year: Spring
- Travel Method: Plane, Rental Car
- Resort: Offsite
- Accommodations: 2 Bedroom Suite
- Ages Represented in Group: Pre-School, Elementary,
Adult
- WDW Experience Represented in Group: Infrequent,
Rookie
- Comments: It had been twenty years since
Kevin had been to Walt Disney World. This time, he took
his wife and three children. The family visited all the
major parks and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. This is
a summary style report. Kevin hits the highlights, and
provides some very valuable information for folks planning a
trip...especially with kids.
- Travel Method: Plane, Rental Car
- Resort: BVR
- Accommodations: 2 Bedroom Vacation Home
- Ages Represented in Group: Toddler, Elementary,
Adult, Senior
- WDW Experience Represented in Group: Veteran,
DVC Member
- Comments: This is a very short report
with just a few items, but well worth reading (especially if
you're going to stay at the Boardwalk Villas Resort any time
soon!
- Travel Method: Personal Car
- Resort: ASMoR
- Accommodations: Standard Room
- Ages Represented in Group: Adult, Senior
- WDW Experience Represented in Group: Veteran
- Comments: Susan took her parents to WDW.
The time spent in the parks as a group were leisurely, but when
Susan was on her own, she became Super-Commando! This
girl probably could have taken the "Guns of Navarone"
by herself (a little old war movie lingo there, for you).
If you insist on packing in as much to your time at WDW as possible,
Susan has some ideas you should try out.
- Time of Year: Spring
- Travel Method: Plane, Rental Car
- Resort: Offsite
- Accommodations: 2 Bedroom Vacation Home
- Ages Represented in Group: Toddler, Elementary,
Adult
- WDW Experience Represented in Group: Frequent
(Veteran Disneylanders)
- Comments: Lance and his family spent
more than two weeks at WDW this time around. As before
(Lance is now a veteran trip reporter for this site), the Caros
report is filled with detail and useful trip planning information.
If you have kids and are planning a trip in the near future
this would be an especially good report to read through.
- Time of Year: Spring
- Travel Method: Plane, Rental Car
- Resort: OKWR
- Accommodations: 1 Bedroom Vacation Home
- Ages Represented in Group: Adult
- WDW Experience Represented in Group: Veteran,
DVC Member
- Comments: Gaylene and Bob had a typically
wonderful 9 day trip to WDW. Gaylene is one of the veteran
trip report writers for my site, and I know you'll appreciate
her narrative and details that you can apply as you plan your
own trip.
- Time of Year: Spring
- Travel Method: Personal Car
- Resort: Offsite
- Accommodations: Standard Room
- Ages Represented in Group: Elementary, Adult
- WDW Experience Represented in Group: Veteran
- Comments: This was a quick trip tacked
onto a visit to Florida to attend a friend's 25th Anniversary
Party. While they were in the neighborhood, why not drop
in to see the Mouse? I couldn't stay away, and neither
could Kathy and Joe. This is a shorter report, covering
only three days in the parks, but with valuable information
for any trip planner.
- Time of Year: Spring
- Travel Method: Plane, Rental Car
- Resort: Offsite
- Ages Represented in Group: Elementary, Adult
- WDW Experience Represented in Group: Rookie
- Comments: Kim and her family enjoyed
a twelve day trip to Central Florida. They stayed offsite
and used a rental car to zip to all of the parks in the Orlando
area, so the report covers Universal and Sea World as well as
Walt Disney World. This is a fun play-by-play report that
discusses what happened without getting overly tied up in details.
- Time of Year: Spring
- Travel Method: Plane, Rental Car
- Resort: Offsite
- Ages Represented in Group: Toddler, Adult,
Senior
- WDW Experience Represented in Group: Veteran
- Comments: This is a great play-by-play
of a one-week trip that Billy and his family took. The
report is filled with detail and a lot of comparisons from last
year's trip to this. The family stayed offsite this time,
due to the high prices at Dixie Landings ($169/night, can you
believe it?)
- Time of Year: Spring
- Travel Method: Personal Car
- Resort: ASMuR
- Ages Represented in Group: Pre- Teen, Adult
- WDW Experience Represented in Group: Veteran
- Comments: This is a blockbuster report
of a wonderful ten day trip to WDW. David has authored
a wonderful play-by-play description of the entire trip and
has laced it throughout with helpful hints and details that
everyone that is planning a trip, or just marking time until
the next one, will enjoy reading.
- Time of Year: Spring
- Travel Method: Personal Car
- Resort: DL
- Accommodations: Standard Room
- Ages Represented in Group: Adult
- WDW Experience Represented in Group: Infrequent
- Comments: David and his wife made their
fifth trip to WDW in early April. This is a very short
report, with only a few comments, but it's fun to read and well
worth the time to do so. If it's been awhile since you've
done WDW with just adults, you'll see why David had so much
fun on this short trip.
- Time of Year: Spring
- Travel Method: Not Reported
- Resort: WL
- Accommodations: Standard Room
- Ages Represented in Group: Adult
- WDW Experience Represented in Group: Not Reported
- Comments: Ron's report is a short one,
but it has some good crowd information and restaurant discussions.
He also discusses some of the things that he and his wife did
that were new to them, including the two tours of Wilderness
Lodge.
- Time of Year: Spring
- Travel Method: Plane, Shuttle Service
- Resort: ASMoR
- Accommodations: Standard Room
- Ages Represented in Group: Adult
- WDW Experience Represented in Group: Veteran,
Rookie
- Comments: This is a great report of a
honeymoon trip. Kelly wrote most of the report and, as
the WDW rookie of the family, provides a fun perspective on
the parks.
- Travel Method: Personal Car
- Resort: GFRS, WL
- Accommodations: Standard Room
- Ages Represented in Group: Pre-Teen, Teen,
Adult
- WDW Experience Represented in Group: Infrequent
- Comments: This is an unusual report because
Ken and his family stayed at the Grand Floridian Resort and
Spa for a portion of their trip. The Wardens spent the
other part of the trip at Wilderness Lodge. This is a
nicely-written play-by-play with a nice summary section to boot.
- Time of Year: Spring
- Travel Method: Plane
- Resort: YCR
- Accommodations: Standard Room
- Ages Represented in Group: Adult
- WDW Experience Represented in Group: Veteran
- Comments: This is a very short report,
just a few paragraphs, that describe the experience that the
Greeblatt's had at the Yacht Club (you can read Dennis' 1999
report for his glowing opinion of Wilderness Lodge).
- Time of Year: Spring
- Travel Method: Plane, Shuttle Service
- Resort: OKWR, Offsite
- Accommodations: Standard Room, Suite
- Ages Represented in Group: Infant, Pre-School,
Elementary, Teen, Adult
- WDW Experience Represented in Group: Infrequent
- Comments: Traveling all the way from
Juneau, AK, the Smith clan enjoyed a week or so in the Orlando
area. Douglas has some horror stories to tell about some
of the trip details, but all in all they had a great vacation
even with the difficulties. Part of the family's stay
was at Portofino Bay, at Universal.
- Time of Year: Spring
- Travel Method: Plane, Rental Car
- Resort: BVIR, Offsite
- Accommodations: 2 Bedroom Vacation Home
- Ages Represented in Group: Infant, Toddler,
Elementary, Teen, Senior
- WDW Experience Represented in Group: Frequent,
Rookie, DVC Member
- Comments: This is another great report
by John (there are several others on the site already).
The trip was delayed from November, but the family more than
made up for it. The style is play-by-play and John provides
huge amounts of details that will benefit any trip planner (or
trip report addict).
- Time of Year: Spring

- Accommodations: Standard Room
- Ages Represented in Group: Adult
- WDW Experience Represented in Group: Veteran,

- Comments: "Run Around Sue"
is at it again...this is her second trip to WDW in March and
already the third this year. On top of that, Sue made
a trip to Disneyland this year, too. As usual, Sue provides
a great commentary on her visit with plenty of details.
To be fair (yeah, right) this was mostly a business trip, but
Sue maximized her time at WDW.
- Time of Year: Spring
- Travel Method: Plane, Shuttle Service
- Resort: DL
- Accommodations: Standard Room
- Ages Represented in Group: Adult
- WDW Experience Represented in Group: Frequent,
Infrequent
- Comments: Steve's report is a great play-by-play
of a six day trip. The vacation spanned spring break,
so the crowds were large...but the weather was great and Steve,
Sherry (Steve's wife), and Tom (friend of the family) had a
great time.
- Travel Method: Personal Car
- Accommodations: Home
- Ages Represented in Group: Pre-School, Elementary,
Adult
- WDW Experience Represented in Group: Infrequent,
Rookie
- Comments: This is a great report about
a nice, long family trip in early March. This is a play-by-play
report with a nice summary at the end, including several great
hints and tips.
- Time of Year: Spring
- Travel Method: Personal Car
- Accommodations: Standard Room
- Ages Represented in Group: Adult
- WDW Experience Represented in Group: Veteran,
Frequent, DVC Member
- Comments: Sue made an early March trip
to visit WDW with over a dozen fellow online Disneyholics.
This is a classic Holland play-by-play report with tons of detail
and a lot of great information. If you're looking for
Pleasure Island information, Sue's reports are always worth
checking.
- Time of Year: Spring
- Travel Method: Plane, Shuttle Service
- Resort: PO
- Accommodations: Standard Room
- Ages Represented in Group: Adult
- WDW Experience Represented in Group: Veteran
- Comments: Chad and his parents visited
WDW for a week. Chad's report is a combination of a great
play-by-play, but with a fantastic summary at the end.
No matter what type of trip report style you like best, you'll
find something you like here.
- Time of Year: Spring
- Travel Method: Personal Car
- Resort: Offsite
- Accommodations: Home
- Ages Represented in Group: Adult
- WDW Experience Represented in Group: Veteran
- Comments: This report describes a single
day visit to WDW. They spent time in several of the parks,
and had a great time. This is a very detailed report for
a single day. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
