- Comments: Mary-Ellen's son, Andrew, is
autistic. She submitted this report, in part, to encourage
those families with autistic children to go ahead and enjoy
a trip to WDW! In fact, Mary-Ellen has learned that vacations
have really helped Andrew develop, so travel is a high priority
for the family. This is a great report, especially if you have
a child with special needs to consider as you plan and execute
your trip.

- Comments: In this report, Eva describes the
goings-on during her trip -- a four night affair including several
friends and family members. This is a pretty lengthy report
for such a short visit. There is a ton of detail here,
so if you like your reports with all the trimmings, you'll enjoy
this one.

- Comments: Mark and his wife Sandy flew
down to spend a long weekend at WDW with their daughter, Iris,
who happens to be a cast member. The trip was leisurely,
without any evidence of commando touring at all. Still,
the Fendrick's covered all four parks as they had a nice, leisurely
vacation.

- Comments: Laurie provides a great narrative
of her family's trip in late Summer. This is an excellent,
detailed report with lots of helpful hints and tips for trip
planners. Plus, the report has a great "you are there"
feeling that makes it a great fix for WDW junkies.

- Comments: In Michele's own words, "My
family and I just came back from a wonderful unplanned WDW trip.
We weren't planning to go until next year sometime, but I couldn't
pass up the $68.00 round trip airfare I spotted one night while
surfing the Internet. We only stayed for a couple of days, but
we packed in a lot. We also got to try the water parks this
trip which was a first for us." Enjoy!
- Time of Year: Summer
- Travel Method: Personal Car
- Resort: Offsite
- Accommodations: Standard Room
- Ages Represented in Group: Adult
- WDW Experience Represented in Group: Veteran
- Comments: Ah, another fantastic report from
one of the veterans. Sheri's report, her third of this
year, is a great play-by-play report covering Sheri and Rich's
trip. I only wish that my annual pass got the workout
that Sheri's does each year.
- Time of Year: Summer
- Travel Method: Personal Car
- Resort: OKWR
- Accommodations: Standard Room
- Ages Represented in Group: Toddler, Adult
- WDW Experience Represented in Group: Frequent,

- Comments: In Billie's words, "This trip
was primarily the result of me not being able to stand waiting
15 months between trips to WDW. We were there in January 2001
and weren't planning to go back until March 2002, but that was
far too long and we had annual passes burning holes in our pockets."
- Time of Year: Summer
- Travel Method: Plane, Rental Car
- Resort: GFRS
- Accommodations: Standard Room
- Ages Represented in Group: Adult
- WDW Experience Represented in Group: Infrequent
- Comments: In this report Steve tells us all
about his first solo adventure to Walt Disney World. This
is a fun-to-read play-by-play report with lots of first impressions
(although Steve has been to WDW before, there's so much to see
that some things were still new for him).
- Time of Year: Summer
- Travel Method: Personal Car
- Resort: AKL
- Accommodations: Standard Room
- Ages Represented in Group: Adult
- WDW Experience Represented in Group: Frequent
- Comments: Lisa and Andy were in Tampa
and decided to spend a few days at Animal Kingdom Lodge while
they were in the neighborhood. This is a shorter report,
but fun to read -- note the frequent references to small or
no crowds throughout the report... very unusual for July at
WDW!
- Time of Year: Summer
- Travel Method: Personal Car
- Resort: ASMoR
- Accommodations: Standard Room
- Ages Represented in Group: Adult
- WDW Experience Represented in Group: Veteran
- Comments: Scott and Julie tacked on a
few days at WDW since they were down in the Ocala area for a
family wedding. This is a very lengthy, detailed and entertaining
report for such a short trip. Enjoy!

- Travel Method: Personal Car
- Resort: Offsite, Swan
- Accommodations: Suite, Standard Room
- Ages Represented in Group: Teen, Adult
- WDW Experience Represented in Group: Veteran,

- Comments: In Sheri's words, "This
is the story of how one totally insane Disney fan happened to
convince her in-laws to make a couple of night time visits to
the Mouse." As Niklewski reports go, this is a short
one due to the fact that it covers only two days in the parks...
but it's as detailed as ever.

- Resort: ASMoR
- Accommodations: Standard Room
- Ages Represented in Group: Elementary, Teen,

- WDW Experience Represented in Group: Infrequent
- Comments: Julie gives a very detailed play-by-play
of her trip to WDW. In addition to Julie and her son and daughter,
several members of Julie's extended family tagged along on the
trip. The report is an interesting narrative on how to deal
with a large group on vacation.

- Comments: Ok, so let's say you're a teacher,
you have the summer off, you have a travel companion, and you
want to spend some time in the US visiting the Disney parks.
So what do you do? How about visiting Walt Disney World,
go on a Disney Cruise, see Disneyland Resort and visit some
other US cities and attractions along the way for good measure?

- Comments: In this report, Lance provides
a GREAT tutorial on planning a trip to WDW... then follows that
with an even greater play-by-play description of the entire
trip. If you like 'em detailed, print this one out, start
a pot of coffee, curl up in the easy chair, and enjoy!
- Time of Year: Summer
- Travel Method: Plane, Shuttle Service
- Resort: Downtown Disney Hotel
- Accommodations: Suite
- Ages Represented in Group: Elementary, Adult

- Comments: The most interesting feature of this
trip report is email and newsgroup postings that Dan provides
at the end of each section of the report. He originally
posted the trip report in the rec.arts.disney.newsgroup, and
the feedback is very fun to read through. This is also
a rare trip report in which the author stayed at a Downtown
Disney Hotel, the Doubletree Guest Suites in Dan's case.

- Comments: Lori's report provides a day-by-day
description of what the group did. This was a large, extended
family trip. If you're planning such a trip, this is a
good trip report to read through. Also, Lori provides
daily "tips of the day" which were fun to read and
informational, too.

- WDW Experience Represented in Group: Infrequent,

- Comments: The Meadow family drove down
to WDW from Georgia for a short visit in late June. This is
a play-by-play report, but short in length. Still, it
gives some great information that can help anyone plan a trip.

- Accommodations: 2 Bedroom Vacation Home
- Ages Represented in Group: Adult, Senior
- WDW Experience Represented in Group: Frequent
- Comments: In Eva's own Words, "We
sort of took a Zen-approach to touring on this trip. When it
is just Bryan and myself, we go commando. With a large, three-generation
group, we knew this wasn't possible...Our touring plans may
not make a lot of sense if you were to map them out, but we
sort of went were our moods took us. If a ride had a long line,
then we would skip it and move on the something else, even if
it was on the other side of the park...We enjoy looking at flowers,
watching the ducks and searching for Hidden Mickeys as much
as the attractions."
- Time of Year: Summer
- Travel Method: Personal Car
- Resort: AKL
- Accommodations: Standard Room
- Ages Represented in Group: Adult
- WDW Experience Represented in Group: Veteran,
Infrequent
- Comments: Tami, her sister, and sister-in-law
dropped down to WDW for a three-night visit at the new Animal
Kingdom Lodge. The report is a nice one in play-by-play
style covering all of the goings-on of the trio as they enjoyed
their brief time away.
