- Comments: Rob and his friend Brian went
to Florida for just over a week in mid-December to enjoy the
holiday trappings at Walt Disney World. Rob's report is
a very detailed play-by-play that provides a lot of great information
-- especially if you're planning to visit during that time of
year.

- Comments: This report is a play-by-play of
the Ashley family's Christmas time visit to WDW. Becky's
report is very detailed, and is a wonderful place to start if
you're thinking of going to visit during the Holidays.

- Comments: Stephanie's report is a brief daily
journal of her family's trip to WDW last December. If
you hate the detailed play-by-play type of report, you'll still
like this one because it's not overbearing with details (but
there's a lot of great information for you to enjoy).

- Comments: Della and Paul brought son

This is a brief summary style report, but filled with opinions
and ideas that I'm sure everyone can benefit from reading.

- Ages Represented in Group: Pre-School, Adult,
Senior
- WDW Experience Represented in Group: Veteran,

- Comments: Don's report is summary style and
extremely valuable for two reasons. First, he has
a great list of restaurants and the group's likes and dislikes
of each. Second, Don covers wheelchair accessibility in
detail! Normally I don't include trip reports of folks
that won't give their complete name. I made an exception
on this report due to the wheelchair accessibility information
that I think may be so valuable to anyone that may need extra
assistance during a trip.
- Time of Year: Holiday Season
- Travel Method: Personal Car
- Resort: CR
- Accommodations
- Ages Represented in Group: Teen, Adult
- WDW Experience Represented in Group: Rookie
- Comments: Mary, a senior in high school at
the time of the trip, has written a great report from the perspective
of a teen. If you're taking some high school kids with
you, read this report! It will give you some great insights
about what kids like and don't like about WDW.
- Time of Year: Holiday Season
- Travel Method: Plane
- Resort: CR, Offsite
- Accommodations
- Ages Represented in Group: Teen, Adult
- WDW Experience Represented in Group: Infrequent
- Comments: While in Florida to visit her parents,
Judy and her son Nathan slipped over to WDW on three different
days to enjoy the parks. They stayed at the Contemporary
Resort for part of the trip, but stayed with the relatives for
most of the time.

- Resort: DL

- Ages Represented in Group: Adult
- WDW Experience Represented in Group: Rookie
- Comments: Christopher, and his wife June, spent
almost two weeks in early December at WDW. They left the
kids with the grandparents, so they enjoyed everything on their
own....but are now planning a return trip in a few years with
the children. Although a detailed report anyway, Christopher
has included a wonderful list of summary comments at the end
of the report (one of my favorite things in any trip report).
- Time of Year: Holiday Season
- Travel Method: Plane
- Resort: WL
- Accommodations
- Ages Represented in Group: Adult
- WDW Experience Represented in Group: Infrequent
- Comments: Joanne and her Aunt, who together
traveled to WDW and DLP, ventured back to Florida for this wonderful
trip. After being "educated" in trip planning
at several web sites, Joanne decided to stay onsite for this
trip, so Wilderness Lodge was the choice for 1998. This
is an especially valuable trip report for WDW visitors from
the UK, as Joanne is from the Manchester area (actually near
Wigan).
- Time of Year: Holiday Season
- Travel Method: Plane, Shuttle Service
- Resort: BIR
- Accommodations
- Ages Represented in Group: Adult
- WDW Experience Represented in Group: Rookie
- Comments: Bryan and his friend Paul flew out
to Orlando for a week long trip that included a day at Universal
and a thorough going-over of Walt Disney World. Very nice
report, with plenty of opinions to think over.

- WDW Experience Represented in Group: Veteran
- Comments: Marie and Walt wrote this report
and gave me permission several weeks ago to post it, and I temporarily
lost it on my hard drive. I hope you'll check it out,
because it's a nice, brief day by day account of the family's
early December trip to WDW. There's also some good
comments about the Beach Club Resort that are worth reading
through.

- Resort: ASSR

- Ages Represented in Group: Adult
- WDW Experience Represented in Group: Infrequent,

- Comments: Carol's report has an interesting
twist. She briefly describes, day-by-day, what the plans
for the day had been. Then she goes on to describe what
actually happened. It makes for very interesting reading...seeing
how "the best laid plans of mice and men" (a little
Steinbeck lingo for you there) can go in different directions.
- Time of Year: Holiday Season
- Travel Method: Plane, Shuttle Service
- Resort: PO/WL
- Accommodations
- Ages Represented in Group: Adult
- WDW Experience Represented in Group: Infrequent
- Comments: This report describes Hope
and Jason's honeymoon trip. It's a play-by-play report
mostly written by Hope, but Jason includes a number of comments
to the dialog, as well. This is an excellent report filled
with many, many details and opinions...very valuable for the
WDW trip planner!
- Time of Year: Holiday Season

- Ages Represented in Group: Toddler, Pre-School,
Adult
- WDW Experience Represented in Group: Infrequent
- Comments: The Cole family (including 4 year
old Austin and 2 year old Tucker) visited the Orlando area in
mid-December for a week and a half long stay. The family
visited WDW, but also covered several other area attractions,
too. The report is in a play-by-play style, but is concise
and to the point, so those of you that hate the detailed trip
reports will still like this one.

- Ages Represented in Group: Senior
- WDW Experience Represented in Group: Infrequent
- Comments: You know that commercial where
the 30-somethings guy is saying that his parents went on vacation
at WDW, and he just couldn't see them having fun? He figures
they probably hated the parks, didn't do much but hang out in
their hotel room, and went to bed early, but when it showed
the couple on vacation, they were doing the exact opposite --
and having a ball! When I read this report, I thought
of that commercial. Peggy and her husband Dick, thoroughly
enjoyed their early Holiday Season trip to WDW...and took plenty
of time smelling the roses, errrr, poinsettias.
- Time of Year: Holiday Season

- Resort: WL, CBR, DL
- Accommodations
- Ages Represented in Group: Adult
- WDW Experience Represented in Group: Infrequent
- Comments: This was a belated honeymoon for
Missy and Tim. They stayed at three different resorts
during the trip. The report (especially the planning section
and summary thoughts) is a thorough play-by-play report -- Definitely
one to read curled up by the fire as you plan your next trip
to WDW!
- Time of Year: Holiday Season

- Resort: CSR

- WDW Experience Represented in Group: Veteran
- Comments: Brian, a veteran WDW visitor, spent
a few days at the resort early in December. This is an
excellent report, especially if you're planning a trip by yourself,
as Brian went solo on this trip. He also ventured off
property for some shopping and other activities.

- Comments: Leah's family took a nine day
trip to WDW in early December. They stayed in a one-bedroom
cabin at Fort Wilderness Homes, and had a marvelous time.
The feature I most love about Leah's play-by-play style report,
is the "magic moments" and trip tips that are scattered
throughout the narrative.

- Comments: Jason has graciously allowed
me to post this trip report to the site. It's his
second one (there's one from June 1995, also.) In this
report, Jason describes his 8th trip to WDW. This time,
the family stayed at Coronado Springs. Written in
a summary style, Jason covers a great amount of detail on how
to tour WDW during the busiest week of the year.

- Ages Represented in Group: Adult, Pre-Schoolers

- Comments: In this report, Pamela
documents her family's trip in early December. It's a
lengthy play-by-play style report, and includes many tidbits
about how the McGlinchey's handled the trip with two pre-schoolers.
If you love trip reports, you'll love this one!

- Comments: After a brief summary of some
hilariously (to the reader) tragic (to Cathie) events during
the family's first trip to WDW earlier this year, she provides
a fantastic run-down of the trip the Guests' took in early December.
It's a wonderful play-by-play account, with great details, tips,
and suggestions laced throughout. Best of all, Cathie
considered my "crazy" when she first found my web
site. Now she is "one of us." ;)

- Comments: The seventh trip to WDW in
one year. Sue makes me so stinking jealous that I want
to scream. Even so, it's fun to read her wonderful reports
because she does such a nice job of describing the trip -- while
being particularly helpful for those of us that are planning
(perhaps perpetually) future ones. This report is particularly
interesting because, in addition to a trip to WDW, Sue and her
son Chris visited Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort, too.
