- Comments: Carol and her husband Steve visited
WDW in May for a nice week and a half long trip. This
was the first visit for each, so Carol's report covers a lot
of the details that new visitors find so amazing (and that some
of us just take for granted).

- Comments: Lindy and her sister Della spent
a great week at WDW in May, just before going on a cruise from
Fort Lauderdale. It's amazing what the sisters covered
in a week! Lindy includes alot of helpful planning
information at the beginning of the report, and throughout the
narrative.

- Comments: This was the Hunt's 6th trip
to WDW in less than 4 years. Among the trip highlights:
the family drove from Pennsylvania for the first time, bought
APs, stayed at the Wilderness Lodge with an AP discount, saw
the new Animal Kingdom, met lots of characters, got badly sun
burnt, went to our first E-Ride night, went to the CentraCare
with a sick kid, fought the Memorial Day Weekend crowds to catch
a glimpse of Spectromagic, saw tons more characters, and generally
had a magical time.

- Comments: Carol visited WDW in May, 1998 just
to scout out the Disney Vacation Club and determine if the program
was something that she and Joe, her husband, really wanted to
jump into. Besides meeting with a representative for an
overview of the DVC, Carol took a tour of the facilities at
BWR and OKWR. If you're considering the DVC, this will
definately be an interesting trip report. Carol
and her Mom (who met her at WDW for the brief trip) enjoyed
some time at the Disney / MGM Studios.

- Comments: Wendy's report is one of the
most detailed I've posted in a long time. Among
the many gems is a fantastic description of the Wilderness Home
that the family stayed in for most of the trip. Also documented
is alot of information about the parks andthe attractions that
the family enjoyed the most.

- Comments: Julie and her parents spent a solid
week at WDW during the middle of May. Staying offsite,
the Williams clan enjoyed the Disney parks thoroughly, but also
spent some time at some of the off-site tourist attractions
in Kissimmee that are rarely mentioned in Disney trip reports.

- Comments: Kasey's report is a summary style
one with several valuable details. The Woodfin's also
took a day off to attend some sessions at the Disney Institute
as day guests. Ready for this? The family also got
a sneak tour of Test Track (even though they weren't allowed
to ride it).

- Comments: Jackie and her husband Rick enjoyed
their a one-year anniversary visit to WDW. The report
is a play-by-play style, but Jackie includes a nice list of
suggestions at the end of the report for the time-challenged.

at is also included.

son (she never did tell us the little guy's name) spent a few
days at the Polynesian. Most of their time was spent at
the hotel and the Magic Kingdom, but they did get out to Downtown
Disney and Animal Kingdom, too. There's alot of
good information for folks visiting with pre-school kids...

- Comments: Nancy and her family had a variety
of experience at WDW before their latest visit. Since
the family arrived in Orlando in two shifts, Nancy had the "privilege"

tidbits.

- Comments: Matt and his sister visited WDW to
see the new Animal Kingdom park. They spent some time
in the other areas of WDW, too, but concentrated their efforts
on the newest park. If you're interested in the thoughts
and impressions of a teen regarding WDW, Matt is a good one
to use as a reference.

- Comments: My wife, Barbara, is the author of
this brief trip planning summary for our trip to the Boardwalk
Villas Resort. The main reason for the trip is to enjoy the
Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival, so Barb's report
covers alot of the details of that show. We also visited the
new Animal Kingdom park, which opened just before our arrival
in Florida.

- Comments: Danielle went to WDW with her high

performance at Epcot. The trip report is more of a teenaged

is an account you won't soon forget.

Bruce wrote this "first glimpses" report back in April,

I just now got around to asking Bruce for his permission to
post it on the site. It's short, but if you're curious

- Comments: Craig's family attended a resort
preview of the new Animal Kingdom park just a week or so before
it opened to the general public. Before leaving on our
own trip to WDW in early May, I enjoyed Craig's report and used
it for my own planning. The report is brief, but covers
the new park in detail. Wonderfully written (check out
the paragraphs about the "Festival of the Lion King"
show) and packed with info...

- Comments: Brian and Chris took their
sons to WDW for a surprise trip. Seriously, the
boys didn't know that they were going to WDW until they got
to Florida. One of the choice moments in this report is
when Brian was finally able to convince them that they were
really going to WDW for the rest of their vacation!
This is an excellent report for folks that are traveling with
young familys. It has alot of valuable information
and is a fun report to read.

- Comments: Al and his wife went to WDW,
staying at Dixie Landings, for a five day visit in March. The
Schaefer's flew from Newark to Orlando and rented a car, then
enjoyed all of the major parks during their visit. Al's report
has alot of opinions about the parks, and about Dixie Landings.
This is a good report to read if you're considering staying
at one of the bayou buildings at that resort.

- Comments: Janet's report is tremendous
for several reasons. First, the Schrock family hails from Souther
California, so they have extensive experience with Disneyland.
The report is filled with fun comparisons between the two Disney
enclaves. Second, Janet and company stayed in two
WDW resorts, the Fort Wilderness Homes and Boardwalk Villas.
The comparisons and descriptions of each resort are wonderful.
Last, the report covers alot of what WDW has to offer: the parks
(including Animal Kingdom), the waterparks, and Pleasure Island.

- Comments: Ronnie spent just a few days at WDW
(her husband "had" to go there on business) and she
made the most of it by meeting up with friends and family over
the six day trip. It's amazing how much she did in just
four days onsite. One other thing, if you're interested
in the Bayou rooms at Dixie Landings, this report gives a nice
description of the rooms and that part of the resort.

- Comments: Paraphrasing from Michael's
report, "We lived in southern California in 1995-1997,
so naturally we had Disneyland annual passes. This would be
our first trip to WDW after "living" at DL so we were
anxious to compare and contrast. So, Although we are Disney
vets, this was a rookie visit for us on several fronts. First,
we had not visited WDW since March of 1994 (although I had visited
downtown Disney and fantasia golf last summer). Also, this was
our longest visit (usually we would only stay 2 or 3 nights)
and the first time we had ever stayed on property."

- Comments: Kim enjoyed a wonderful spring

covers their trip in detail. It's a classic tale of a
veteran WDW visitor indoctrinating an innocent rookie to the
wiles of Disney. Enjoy! I did.

- Comments: I think Donna's report is particularly
helpful for folks that are traveling with toddlers. She
does a great job of sharing the tips that she's learned in traveling
to WDW with her 16-month old daughter. Otherwise, the
report is a fun one to read just because it covers the trip
so nicely.
