Don Matson -- February 2001 -- DisneylandThis is our first time writing to you, but we have been reading your great viewpoint/site for a while. We have visited DCA several times in the last few weeks and we have mixed feelings about the experience. Soaring was great but the Fastpass needs to be adjusted maybe to spacing out the release of them so that others are able to view it and lessen the angry comments to the employees. Actually we had a nice time just listening to the singing group outside the ride. They were really entertaining and even involved the crowd in their sing-a-longs. Disney needs a LOT more roving entertainment especially in the dead spots. We overheard that they may have some kind of set stunt bike riders and rollerbladers over in Paradise Pier. Sounds good to us even if it was only on the weekends. Anything that will pull the crowds away from the lines is fine by us. We enjoyed the other rides but had to come back for the Screamer because it broke down for a few hours. There doesn't seem to be very much for the younger visitors - but Disney could inexpensively do something for them. Have some type of puppet show in an area that has room for them to sit and be entertained. It will give the parents and younger children something to come back for another visit. Especially if maybe a child or parent could be involved in the skit. We really want DCA to take off and know a lot of money has already been spent on the visuald. Hopefully they can add a little here and there to appease the crowds and everyone that goes can still come away with a pleasant experience. Thanks for all the great information.
