Juliana Calhoun -- June 2000 -- Walt Disney World (PO, CR)Time: May 31st-June 15th Place of Staying: PO (8 nights) and CR-Garden Wing Room (7 nights) Transportation-Delta Airlines, TTC, Rental Car (National) Cast:
Both of the boys arrive on June 2nd TRIP REPORT..... Foreword- This is my 1st trip report. So if anything sounds confusing I'm really sorry. Just make sure to tell me how I'm doing. Thanks so much. HISTORY- We went in September 1999. Since I am doing marching band we cant go in September (I feel so bad...All because of me we cant go in September :() so we decided to visit in June 2000. Since we weren't going in 2001 at all we decided to do a long trip (16 days). Also, because of the summer crowds we gave us more time so we wouldn't have to rush around riding everything and we could take breaks from the parks and go to DQ or the water parks. So we planned on staying at PO for 15 nights. Then in March, Mom called CRO and got a good rate at CR. We were planning on getting a good rate at Poly but they were booked. So my Mom booked us 7 nights for CR. Then she called PO and changed our reservation for 8 nights. Dad had to be at work on June 1st and June 2nd so he had to stay. The original plan was to have Mom, Jacob and I got to WDW on May 31st then Dad would come the night of June 2nd. Well, Jacob (being the sweetie that he is...well the sometimes sweetie that he is....lol) said he was going to stay with Dad so he wouldn't get lonely. My grandfather ended up coming and they went and played golf. He had a blast!!!! So darn it was just Mom and me in the "World" for 3 days all alone...... Wednesday, May 31st-#Day 1-girls arrive, MK, unpack I can't believe this day is here already. It has only been about 9 months or so since I came in September. I feel like its not enough time!!!!!!! My Mom got up at 4. I got up at 4:08. I had taken a shower the night before so I fixed my hair by putting a gallon (literally) of hairspray so that was one less thing I had to do. I was dressed by at least 4:12. My Mom was in the bathroom doing her hair and make-up. I decided to forget the make-up so I could be ready very quick. My Mom was done by 4:25. We both walked downstairs. Oh yeah one more thing to mention-we had on matching outfits!! They were soooooooooo cute!!! We both had our glasses on so we could sleep on the plane. We had on white sleeveless shirts and blue-checkered Capri pants. I hope you can kinda get a picture of what we looked like. Just one of the many times we dressed alike on this trip. When we got downstairs my Mom and Dad had some last minute things to do before we left. (My Dad was driving us to the airport) We were off at 4:35. Gosh it's really early!!!!!! Nothing of excitement happened on the way to Hobby Airport. We arrived at 5:05 and my Dad helped us unload our 4 bags. The reason we have so many is because when the boys come they only have to carry 2 bags and it will be easier on them (but harder on us....lol) We kissed my Dad good-bye and went to wait inline at the Skycap to get our bags checked. Ok problems started here!!!! Not really but its one of those things that make ya think-what were they thinking?!?!!? Ok so there were people behind us and one person in front. They only had one Skycap but then another came to help out. There was a family that had just drove up (like 3 minutes after us) and he helped them out 1st!!!!!! Then the other Skycap yelled at him oh-well we had like another 3-minute wait and then we walked in the door. At the Delta check-in place inside there was a long line!!!! Like at least 40 people! My Mom said she didn't understand why you would wait in line when you can wait outside with a shorter wait. I think its because they don't wanna pay a tip but whatever floats your boat. We were at our gate at 5:15. We went and checked-in and then we took a potty break at 5:20. We waited about 10 minutes until they started boarding. We were seated at 5:40(since they load from the back of the plane and we were kinda towards the front) we got a snack bag with a banana, orange Juice and a Cheese Danish. I don't like Danishes and a didn't want a banana at the moment and didn't want OJ either so I didn't eat any of it. We sat in row 17 seats B and C. By 5:58 we were taxiing. Take-off happened at 6:05 only 5 minutes late but that's ok. Only thing that happened was there was woman and she had a horrible attitude. (This all happened before we took off) Ok she had 3 carry-on items and you know that they only allow 2. Well, since no one was sitting next 2 her she found it all right to have 3. So one of the flight attendants talked to her about it. What a scene she made!!!!! The woman kept saying stuff like "Will you just leave me alone?" and "I don't see why I can't have 3 carry-on items" and "This is a very expensive camera!" The flight attendant threatened to call Security but she never did. She was so rude, I felt so embarrassed for her. Only thing exciting that happened on the plane. We landed at 8:43. Since we change time zones from Houston to Atlanta the flight was about 1 hour and 40 minutes. We were off the plane at 9:00. We went to one of the Atlanta shops to buy a magnet. Total cost $3.20. Once again another potty break, we got to our gate at 9:30. Ok, just our luck our flight to Atlanta was one of the farthest gates in Terminal A and our flight to Orlando was the farthest gate on Terminal B. What a long walk we had!! Oh-well. We waited until 9:45 and that's when they started boarding. While the time waiting I ate Sour Skittles and read my Seventeen magazine. At 9:53 we were on the plane. Row 24 seats C and D. We left the gate at 10:30. Ok here's what happened this time...At 10:30 right before we started to take-off the pilot found a problem with engine #3. So back to the gate we went so the mechanics can check it out. It turned out to be a false alarm. So at 11:00 there we go to the runway to take off. I have never heard so many crying and screaming kids!!! My Mom is used to it since she is a Labor and Delivery nurse!!!! They showed the movie Pentagon Wars starring Kelsey Grammer. It looked horrible so my mom and I decided to sleep. Take-off was at 11:15. I woke up once I heard a bunch of people talking. All the noise was from the flight attendants handing out snack mix!!!! Its so weird what excites people!! I got lemonade to drink and my Mom got Cranapple. On the 1st flight we got nothing to drink. We landed at 12:15. We were off the plane at 12:20. Ok we leave over an hour late and we only get here 20 minutes late. Now what's up with that? Oh-well it doesn't matter-we are here now!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh my gosh!!! At 12:30 we were at the baggage claim. Brian from Tiffany Town car is there waiting for us. Always every time all our bags come at the end or middle all at the same time. Brian was so nice. Next time we are going to have to request him again!! By 12:35 we were curbside waiting for Brian to go get the car. 12:45 we were in the car. Ok inside the car was maroon and leather. Outside it was a grayish-silver color. Very cool!!! Nothing exciting happened except we could see where the fires were. At 1:08 we were at PO. Had our bags checked-in and then my Mom paid Brian $55 and took a picture of him. I hope the pic turns out it was so cute!!! Ok so we checked in at 1:13. Our CM's name was Anne-Marie from Connecticut. Really nice, explained everything really well so if we were on our 1st trip I would have actually understood...hehe!!! Our room number was 3131. That means 3 building, 1st floor, and room 31. Our room turned out to be the 1st room you see when you come to building 3. Great room!!!! We were in it at 1:23. At 1:25 we called Bell Services to bring our bags to our room. 1st thing we did was turn the TV to Channel 13(I think that is the channel but maybe I'm wrong). It's the one with the preview of the parks with the "Zip-a-Dee-Do-Dah" song!! At 1:30 they came and gave us our bags. My Mom gave them a $4 dollar tip. We started unpacking and only took 20 minutes. We are getting pretty good at this.....lol! We finished unpacking everything in 20 minutes and then Mom called Dad at work with our Fuji Calling Card left over from last year. She talked for like 5 minutes and then we left for the food court. We made sure to bring our mugs from Dixie Landings when we stayed there in 1996. We got so spoiled with these!!! Since we got them before they redid the mugs to make them smaller we always had more to drink since the mugs are huge!!! We had our food in less than 5 minutes!! We shared an Adult Chicken Fingers with fries. I got Lemonade to drink and my Mom got tea. Total Cost-$6.35. We went back to the room to put our mugs up. I know I saw people with their mugs at the park but that's makes it one more thing to carry around so we opted not to. We left the room at 2:25. On our way out we walked through the gift shop (Jackson Square is the name) and then we were out to the bus stop. We waited 2 minutes for the bus and we got on. Of course we went to MK. We haven't rode a bus to MK since our '96 trip because '97 and '99 and stayed at WL so we took the boat and in '98 we stayed at the cabins and they had a boat also. Last year we had horrible luck with the boats. We would always seem to get there right as the boat was leaving!! Grrr...............!!!!!! It only took us 11 minutes to get there not bad at all. Got to the gate and our AP's actually worked!!! We had the hardest time with them last year. The only reason we have AP's last year was because they had Magic Hours and the only way to get into them is if you got AP's. Since they sold so badly the day of the 1st one they changed it to an E-night. The word didn't have enough to get out so they had to be less than 1,000 people in the park. It was wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Everything we rode we could stay on as many times as we wanted. Ok enough of my memories for now. 1st thing we did was go get Fastpasses for Space. The time we got was 4:30-5:30. So of course we naturally go to something with no wait- TTA!!!! Over the years I hadn't really like this ride but now it's my favorite at MK!! I mean never a line and its so relaxing-what else is there not to enjoy!!?!?! After that we walked over to CoP. This is one of my favorite shows. How can they even think about getting rid of it?? I mean it was Walt's idea and everything. They just can't!!! Ok enough of my whining for now. We waited 4 minutes for it. Ok you know how they always come on and say a bunch of stuff you and can't do? Well, before that he said "Ok, take your seatbelt from the right side and fasten it on your left.............and hold on tight because you are a roller coaster!!!!" It wasn't too funny but, it was the fact the guy next to us fell for it!!! It was so cute but anyway. After CoP we walked threw Fantasyland and most of everything had a long line. Of course another ride which the wait never gets to long is IASW!! So we went on that next. BTW Peter had a 30 wait. We waited 4 minutes for IASW. We have never had to wait for this before!!! But at least they load fast so it wasn't a problem. We sat in a pink boat. On IASW they changed the sign right before you go into the tunnel for the ride. Well, we got off that and walked over to FrontierLand. I bought a frozen Lemonade while my Mom went to go get FP for Splash. Ok let me explain how we got 2 FP at once. We brought along the guys passes so we could get more than one FP at once. It worked out good and we learned something else at Studios, which I'll explain later in the trip. The frozen Lemonade cost $2.25 and it only took like a minute so I went to Splash to find Mom. They changed the entrance to the ride. It used to be right after the bridge where you can see the big drop but now it farther down by kinda where BTMRR is. So after I figured that out I went down there and found my Mom. The FP said come back 6:25-7:25. After all that we walked to Adventureland. We rode PoTC with a 1-minute wait. Never understood the whole point of the ride and I guess I never will. Oh-well. Got off PoTC and went back to Fantasyland and walked over to Peter. Now the wait was 40 minutes!!! We'll have to come back at a less busy time. We went over to Snow White and had a 6-minute wait. That's not bad at all. We rode in Happy. After that we went back over to TommorrowLand because it was about time for our FP for Space. Walked over to find out that the line is out the door but later I realized it was because they have to check them and it takes a while. Went over to TTA and rode with a one-minute wait. Got off and went over to Space again. Only had a 13-minute wait. That's good considering that the wait was about an hour in the stand-by line. Ok lets see how many things we rode from the time we got our FP and then when we got in line...we rode 6 rides and only had a 13-minute wait!!! I don't understand why you wouldn't get FP but you can do whatever floats your boat. Ok we rode in car #26 on the right side. We haven't rode on the left side since our '97 trip but don't worry we get to later in the trip. Got off Space and walked over to Toontown to catch the train and ride it around to FrontierLand. Only had a 2-minute wait for it. In my 5 trips here I haven't rode the train much so I really enjoyed it. Since it wasn't time for our FP for Splash we went to see Country Bear Jamboree. Last year I didn't really enjoy the show that much but this year I loved it!!!! Especially, Big Al singing, "Blood on the Saddle". It's so funny. Only had a 3-minute wait until the next show. Finished that show and off we went to ride Splash with our FP. Ok one thing I noticed throughout the trip is how crowded the FastPass entrance is. People hang around it until it's their time and gets so annoying!!!!!! Why get you go do something else until then. Because all you really are doing is defeating the whole purpose of the FP. On one our last days I'll have to tell you the story of R 'n R. ok enough of my complaining. Rode it with a 10-minute wait. The stand-by line was more than an hour. Again, I don't understand but you do what you wanna do. After Splash we went to eat at El Pirata y el Perico. We waited 9-minutes. There were about 10 girls in front of us and they were in some program and got a free meal to wherever they wanted to eat. So that's what took so long. I had nachos and mom had taco salad and we shared a large lemonade. The girls that were in line in front of us acted really good-I told my Mom we acted well in public but she still won't believe me. (We ran into many teens throughout the trip with their friends that acted horrible- the worst would have to be the group at Tiki Birds (I'll explain later)) Total cost-$11.81. We were done eating at 7:28 and decided to do HM. I love this ride so much!!! My Mom hates it but she did it anyway. Rode HM with no wait. And walked back over to Peter. Wait was 25-minutes. I know most of you reading this think that's a good wait but for us who in September last year rode Peter with 2-minute wait its not. But later in the trip we get it down to about 10 or so. We decided since we have been up since 4 in the morning that it was time to go back to the hotel. On the way out we stopped by the Main Street Bakery. I got a sugar cookie and my Mom got a German chocolate Cake. Total cost $5.09. Eating our snacks we walked to the bus stop. Had a 1-minute wait and then the bus pulled up. Great Timing!! I was done with my cookie by the time we go on the bus. My Mom was still eating her cake. It's was huge though. Got back to the room at 8:26 and decided to try out the pool. Got in our suits and went. But first we went to refill our drinks. Got in and the pool was so cold!!!! We stayed in about 10 minutes and went back to the room. I never again went swimming at night. Got back to the room at about 8:55 and put the heater on high. Now who would have thought in the middle of June 2 people from Texas would put the heater on high to go bed? Since the heater probably hadn't been put on in awhile it stunk really bad. Oh-well I was cold!!!! We got in bed and watched TV and my mom rewrote the notes for the day. And then we went to bed around 10:00. We called for a 6:20 wake-up call so we could go to EE at MK. Thursday, June 1st-Day #2-MK, Downtown Disney, Studios We had a wake-up call for 6:20 so we could go to EE at MK. My Mom answered the phone and there was no Mickey :( :(!!!!!! She said there was music (later we figured out it was ToN music) so we both went back to sleep until 6:39. Then the alarm went off and we got up. I took a shower and was dressed and ready in about 15 minutes. We left the room and walked to the bus stop and waited 1-minute then a MK bus pulled up. About 1 minute after that another MK bus pulls up. Well since most people took the 1st bus we opted to take the 2nd. Only like 10 people got on with us. Well the 1st bus was full so we would have had to stand but on the 2nd bus we got to sit down. Since the bus wasn't that full we went to all the bus stops at DxL. I don't think too many people got on, maybe like 1 or 2. It added about another 10 minutes to our trip but I think it was worth it. Off the bus and at the gates to MK at 7:28. We waited until the opening at 7:30 and then they started letting people in. Only took 5 minutes so it wasn't bad at all. We went straight to FantasyLand and went on Snow White with no wait. (Sleepy was our car). Then to Peter with a 1-minute wait and then back to Pooh with a 1-minute wait. (Purple Pot) Now that's our kind of waits.......lol! After that, we did the tea cups (green cup). Ok, in Joe Riccitelli's(one of our fav trip report writers (I like Danielle Thomas a lot too!) last trip report he said there was a fast green cup. He said it went faster than the others. So we tried to figure out which one it was. Well, this one was fast and we went back on the same one later and it wasn't. I think the fastness has something to do with easiness of turning the wheel. Anyways, after that we walked over to Space. The line was out the door!!!!!!!! I thought they doing something but my Mom walked up there and it was the line!!!! (at least I think it was) so we got out of line. We went back to ride the teacups again with a 1-minute wait. (light green cup this time). Then we walked over to Snow White and rode with a 2-minute wait. (Sneezy). Then went to ride Peter with a 6-minute wait. Then IASW with no wait. After IASW we went over to where FantasyLand connects with Liberty Square and waited for FrontierLand/AdventureLand to open. We waited about 10 minutes for it to open. They were supposed to open at 8:30 but they opened late. Then we walked (unlike most of the people I saw running) over to BTMRR and had a 12-minute wait. After that we walked over and did HM with no wait and then left. My take on EE at Mk its good for FantasyLand but that's about it. So many people do it that it begins to defeat the whole purpose. (Kinda like how E-ticket is becoming more and more crowded) We were out of MK at 9:44 and went over to catch the monorail so we could go to catch the bus to Downtown Disney at the TTC. We waited 5-minutes for it and got on. We were at the TTC at 9:58. Walked over to the bus and waited 15-minutes (our longest wait for a bus the whole trip). Ok story time.........there was this school group going to MK (don't ask me why when they were getting there at 10:00 A.M. and it was EE but that's the school's bad planning not ours!!) all I remember is that it was a 6th grade class. Well one of the chaperones was just walking not paying attention to anything around her. Well a bus (I think it was Boone bus) was behind her (oh yeah, she was walking in the street) and she was walking really really slowly and the bus stayed about 10 feet behind her for a few minutes. I was like ok aren't you smart to be walking down the middle of the street with a bus right behind you. I think it would have been funny if the bus driver had honked his horn. She would have jumped about 5 feet in the air!!!! Anyways, we were at DD in 20 minutes. The main reason we went to DD was to eat at Rainforest Cafe. On the Internet there is this site called freeride (address is www.freeride.com). On the site you sign up and click on sites and get points. When you get so many points you can get gift certificates and one of the choices is RFC. You really need to go sign-up!! It is easy, and you get stuff for free!!! If you do, when it is referral (or something like that) type in my freeride name (which is wdwfanatic) and you get points and I get points for referring you!!@!!! So my family and I have been doing this since about March and have got $210 dollars in gift certificates for RFC. So all of the 3 times we ate here it was free!!! We waited for RFC to open so we looked in Disney at Home. Great store-looked around for about like 10 minutes. I think when I get older and married I'm gonna do my house in Mickey!! I mean like everything-bathrooms, bedrooms, and kitchen everything! I think it would so cool! At 10:50 we went over to RFC and had a 2-minute wait to get in. On the ticket it said that we were supposed to sit in the Elephant Room. Of course, she sat us far away from everything. Oh-well. I ordered the kid's Pizza and chicken nuggets and my Mom ordered the Buffalo chicken Salad. I got Lemonade and my Mom got tea. My lemonade was really good except it was a frozen lemonade and it was $4.50!!!!! My Mom said I couldn't get that anymore. (umm...I wonder why...hehe) We had our drinks within 3 minutes and our food within 16 minutes!! They were fast!!!! There was a church group of more than 50 kids (I know because I counted up until 46 and there were still more kids) only time they were loud was during the storms. We were out of RFC by 11:40. Cost was $37.50. We used $30 dollars in gift certificates and charged $7.50 to the room. After that, we walked over to WoD to do a little shopping. My Mom had to go to the bathroom and it took awhile to find it. Shopped for about an hour and spent only $92.10. That's not a lot on our 2nd trip here (later in the trip) we spent over $300 dollars!!!! We came out of the store and guess what song was on? "On the Front Porch" from Summer Magic. Then "The 2nd Star to the Right" from Peter Pan came on. Then "Ev'rybody got a Laughing Place" from Song of the South (or Splash Mtn.) came on. And I sung every single one of them!!! I'm one of those people that know almost all Disney songs and sing it when I know it. So if you ever notice a teenager singing every Disney song in the book it's probably me!!!!! During these songs I got a frozen Lemonade for $2.50 at a little stand. It was really good!!! While, I'm eating my Lemonade we walked over to the boat dock to catch the boat back to PO. We only waited 5 minutes for it. Not bad at all!!!!! We were back at PO at 1:08(18-minute boat trip) and had a really good boat driver person. Very entertaining! Only took us 4-minutes to get back to the room. We got our bathing suits and went to refill our drinks then to the pool. We did all of this 8 minutes. I didn't go down the slide because I told my brother I would wait for him to get here. I stayed at the pool until 2:05(I was there for 45 minutes) and then went back to the room. My Mom came back 15 minutes later. She said she was beginning to fall asleep so she decided it might be time to come back to the room. We both fell asleep around 2:30. My Mom woke up around 4:55 and took a shower. I woke up around 5:20 and took a shower also. While I was getting dressed my Mom went to go get our E-Tickets for tomorrow. (Cost $21.20) When she got back we left to go catch a bus to Studios. We got to the bus stop and one was pulling away and couldn't tell if it was Studios or MK. Well we found out 3-minutes later when we were on the Studios bus. We got there at 6:15 and went to Sunset Blvd to get FP for R'nR and TZToT. Then we went to ride GMR with no wait. Ok the one ride I want to have a line doesn't!!! I really just wanna see the preview of Singin' in the Rain on the big movie screen. It is my favorite movie so I need to see it. (I did later and was disappointed). Oh-well its better not to have a line. Got off GMR and went to ride Star Tours with a 5-minute wait. After we got off that we took a potty break before going to take a picture at the Singin' in the Rain Umbrella. We tried to do this last year and it didn't work. :( But it did this time!! Of course, there was some mom and son and the son keep going up to it like every other person when me and many other people are waiting. I mean he has had his turn leave please! And she didn't do anything about it! And then I had been there for like 5 minutes and every time I walked up there someone would run in front of me. It was so rude!!!!! Grrrrr...................!!!!!!!!! Ok I guess I need to stop now. By this time it was time for our FP for R'nR and TZToT. We had a 13-minute wait for TZToT when stand-by was posted as 70 minutes! I think we did well on that! I just can't get enough of this ride!!!! It's the best ride in the whole world. I love that feeling you get when you know you are about to drop!!! Nothing in the world compares to it!! We took pennies and held them in our hand. Well, the pennies were floating all over the place. I lost mine though :( oh-well Then had a 12-minute wait for R'nR when stand-by was posted as 40 minutes. After that we were hungry and went over to Rosie's. OK, my Mom told me that they had hot dogs and they didn't and that's what I really wanted. So we went over to Backlot Express and I got a hot dog and my mom got a Chicken sandwich basket with a Lemonade we would share. (Cost $12.74) One thing I should mention is that when it says a 13-minute wait for TZToT that is how long it took us from the time we got in line until we were on the elevator. NOT until we got in the library. Same with R 'n R. Just so you know that. And also these are not guessimates with wait times. They are exact. My Mom would look at her watch from the time we stopped moving until we got on a line. So these doesn't mean through the whole queue just after we stopped. We left Backlot Express at 8:47 and went to check out VotLM. It was a 15-minute wait and we didn't have enough time so we decided to do it later. We walked back over to TZToT and rode with a 13-minute wait the 1st time and an 11-minute wait the 2nd time. I went to get an Ice Cream Cone at Hollywood Scoops while my Mom went to get a Caramel Apple and a bottle of water at Sweet Spells. I was done in 5 minutes (Cost $2.65) it was a natural vanilla bean on a cone. Since I was done so soon I went looking for my Mom and I walked all the way down there to Sweet Spells to find out she wasn't there. When I turned around I saw her about 50 feet ahead of me. So here I am with an ice cream cone in one hand running down the sidewalk trying to catch my Mom. I know I just looked so stupid. After that, we went to wait in line for Fantasmic. We waited 17 minutes until we were seated in the Mickey section. I dunno what they do maybe they are still cleaning up or something but they need to speed it up and this show was at 10:30 and we got seated at 10:20. Ok I don't think we sat in Mickey I think we sat in the one to the right of it but the seats were bad!!! There was a pole in the way!!! I mean it made it a little harder to see but I know I would mad if I had waited 2 hours and got these sorry seats!! Show was great like last time I saw it. I just love the Dancing Bubbles scene with all the different songs from movies and they run together. Great and guess what? I know all the songs and the words...lol. Fantasmic ended exactly at 11:00 and were on the bus at 11:08. In 20 minutes we were back to the room and got ready for bed. There was a message from my grandma (my Mom's mom). My mom called home and let it ring once so they knew it was us, so they could call back. They did, my Mom talked to my dad and bro while I just talked to my bro for like a minute or so. I called to get us a 7:50 wake-up call for the next morning. I went to sleep at 12:10 and my Mom at 12:30. Friday, June 2nd-Day #3-Sleeping in (1st time ever on any wdw vacation), BB, MK and E-Night The phone rang for our 7:50 wake-up call. No Mickey again!! I picked up the phone and someone said this is your 7:50 wake-up call. How Un-Disney like!! Then the alarm went off at 8:00. We are so tired!! We both went back to sleep and then woke up at 8:30 and were trying to decide if we should get up and go to Studios or not. We opted to sleeping in. I mean we were up at 4:00 Wednesday and 6:30 on Thursday, we need to sleep in!!! I got up at 9:50. I was a little disappointed that we couldn't go to Studios (which is my favorite park just for the fact of TZToT). My Mom woke up at 9:50 to but went back to sleep. I watched Ricki Lake. I usually watch it everyday at home. I'm beginning not to like it that much because the topics are getting really weird. Oh-well. My Mom got up at 10:50. We both finally got out of bed and got ready to go to BB. (Blizzard Beach) We have never been to any of the water parks before because we never really had time. But this year if you have AP's from like May 31st to June 11th you can get into any water park as much as you like for the price of one day!!!! We were at the bus stop at 11:20. The buses came in this order- 1) TL 2) EPCOT 3) Studios 4) MK 5) TL---Now why are there 2 TL buses and not even one AK/BB bus has shown up? Oh-well. Our bus showed up next. It took 22 minutes to get to AK. When we got there they had to change drivers and that was like an 8-minute wait. We finally got to BB at 12:15. I think it's so stupid that it takes almost an hour just to get to the water park. I can't wait to get our car when the boys come tonight. It will make it easier on us when we go to the water parks. We waited in line about 5 minutes before it was our turn to get our AP add-on. It took the girl forever and I felt really bad for the people behind us in line but she wasn't the smartest Cm they have. Ok what you have to do is tell them your name, address, and D.O.B. Ok for every single AP (which is 4 of them that we have) She kept having to ask us our address over and over. So another Cm showed how you can copy it and it will make it faster. She didn't us it!!!! Then she accidentally printed up one with my name (and not a one for my Dad) so we had to go thru the whole address thing again!!! It was so bad!! So we were in the park at 12:30. Passes didn't work and they start asking me for I.D. Ok, common sense people what kind of I.D. is a 13-year-old gonna had. And its not just BB it was all the water parks that gave us problems. Ok, considering we have never been here and they weren't handing maps at the Entrance, we went on a search for the map. Finally we found one. So we went in front of the wave-pool and found a lounge chair to lay our stuff on. After us getting suntan lotion on we went in the wave-pool. COLD!!!! And the bottom is very rough so you really couldn't sit down. We have been to Waterworld many times and the waves are much better there. I have never found better waves until at WDW at TL. The waves are incredible (more on that later) Next we went to find the chair lift and it was posted about a 15-minute wait. We decided to do it. Never again unless the wait is under 5 or 10 minutes. I mean all it does is it takes you to the top of the mountain. The stairs are worse on you but at least you can get up there 3 times as fast. We went over and did Snow Stormers and had about a 10 -minute wait. Good ride, very fun!!!! We went back to the lounge chair when we were at the bottom of Snow Stormers. We then went to climb the stairs to go ride Teamboat Springs. It was about a 15-minute wait. Very fun ride but you need to get wetter. All you do is go down, nothing of excitement. At WaterWorld in Houston we have a ride called Big Khanua. It is like it but not as long but at leas you get a little bit wet. But I learned the more weight you have in the raft the higher you fly up on the walls and the wetter you get. It was just my Mom and I in the raft so maybe that's why. We went back to the lounge chair so we could get money to get something to eat. My Mom waited in line for nachos while I attempted to find the funnel cake stand I saw earlier. I finally found it after 10 minutes of walking around. I got the funnel cake in less than a minute and went to find my Mom. (COST $3.50) We decided to eat the funnel cake and get a sno-cone and eat when we get back to the hotel because I had been gone about 10 or 15 minutes and my Mom had moved about 3 steps!! So we went right across the walkway and got a Blue-Raspberry sno-cone at Snow Balls I think was the name of it. (COST $3.00) Went back to the lounge chair to eat. Great funnel cake and sno-cone. Put more suntan lotion on. Then we went to the Lazy River. Very fun except the water in the cave is COLD!!!!!!! Oh my gosh I don't think I've ever been in colder water. We rode around until we saw the raft rides. We decided to get a double raft. Only waited about 5 minutes then made our way to the top. Great there was more stairs!! Halfway up I got really tired. We waited (with the walk up the stairs) about 5 minutes again. Another very fun ride!! We got off the raft and were going to walk back over to where our stuff was and saw Down-Hill Double Dipper. It looked very fun so we hopped in line to get a tube. We waited about 10 minutes for it and climbed more stairs!!! Got up there and had about another 10-minute wait. The ride is about 10 to 15 seconds so it's really not worth the 20-minute wait. Ok story time.........there were these 2 teenage guys in front of us (they looked pretty cute but that's beside the point here...hehe) and these 2 other guys came up and said where do u get the tubes. The guys in front of us answered at the bottom of the ride. Then they asked the question again and the boys in front said the same thing. So the guys said ok, let's go find someone that's knows where they are and walked off. HELLO-the 2 guys just told you and you didn't listen. Duh!!! They were telling you where to get them!!! My Mom went back to the chair to see what time it was while I got in the wave pool. My mom came back and said that it was 3:45. My Mom stayed in the pool for like 5 minutes then went to get our stuff together to get ready to leave. I stayed about 5 more minutes after my Mom left. I got out and went to find a shower thingy to rinse my hair. My hair very curly and with the highlights it gets gross after being in a pool so I decided I need to rinse my hair when I can. I found one over by downhill double dipper. Rinsed my hair and walked back to our spot. We left our spot at 4:02. We got to the bus stop at 4:12. Our bus stop was one of the farthest ones away. We waited 2 minutes and then our bus pulled up. Ok since we went to AK 1st last time we assumed that we wouldn't have to go there. WRONG!!!! We went to AK and waited about 5 minutes because they had to change drivers again! We got back to PO at 4:44. (Hehe funny time) I went to the food court while my Mom went back to the room to get our mugs. My Mom got tea and I got Lemonade. I ordered a pepperoni pizza and a child's chicken tenders. Ok my Mom said to get her a pecan pie. Of course I looked on the menu and didn't see it so I didn't get it. Of course I look one more time and then I see it. So I had to get back in line. Got our food and went back to our room. Guess what we watched on TV?!?!?! We watched Pro putt-putt golf!! At 1st I thought it was pro golfers playing putt-putt but they are real pro put-putt golfers. The person that won (I forgot his name) got like 5,000 dollars. That's not bad all for playing putt-putt. We then went back to the food court to get more BBQ sauce and refills. My mom took a shower then I took one. We got dressed and went to the bus stop. We waited 8 minutes for the MK bus. Got there at about 6:25. Traded our cards for bands for E-night. We walked past Timekeeper and saw it was less than 2minutes and decided to see it. Show was good but not my favorite ride ever or anything. Next we went to the one and only TTA. Guess how long we waited? None :) We then walked over to IASW and waited 1-minute. (Blue boat) Then we went to HM with a 2-minute wait. Then we walked back to Peter. Had an 11-minute wait. Then rode Snow White with a 1-minute wait. Then we rode Tea Cups with a 2-minute wait. Then during MSEP we went to Toontown Fair. We rode Barnstormer 3 times without getting off. Then walked thru Mickey and Minnie's houses. I was hungry and we went to the Launching Pad and the line was long. Also, they didn't have anything I wanted to eat. So we walked over to Pecos Bill's in FrontierLand. Have you ever tried to walk thru to FrontierLand about 5 minutes before the Fireworks start? Very hard to do. Ok Firework info!!!!! The fireworks are to the right of the castle. NOT in front of it. My Mom said she read a trip report where the guy said that he was right in front of the castle and he couldn't see them. Best place to see the fireworks is at Pete's Garage in Toontown Fair. We watched the fireworks there and there were 10 people (literally not joking) and u can actually see them really well. So we went to Pecos Bill's we got chili cheese fries and a medium coke. (COST $5.25) You could here the fireworks while we were in there. We ate outside and saw the end of it. After we were done eating we went to Splash and had a 1-minute wait. Then did BTMRR 3 times with 9-miute wait the 1st time, 6-minute wait 2nd, and 10-minute wait the 3rd. Ok complain time. The 2nd time we rode BTMRRR the 2 girls in front of us didn't have bands. The guy wasn't even really checking. I looked down and the girl had nothing on her right wrist and the other girl had a jacket on. As soon as she got in line she took the jacket off. I just don't find it fair but they'll get what is coming to them soon enough. Then we went back to Splash to ride Splash with no wait (we were in a log by ourselves). We walked over to TomorrowLand and rode Space Mountain 3 times. 3-minute wait 1st time, 5-minute 2nd time, and 16-minute wait the 3rd time. The wait was so long the 3rd time because they had closed off the left side. Then we rode AstroOrbiter with a 6-minute wait. On the way out we went to the Ice Cream Shoppe and got a vanilla cone and a bottle water (COST $4.65). We were at the bus stop at 1:01 and the bus was there waiting. We were in our room at 1:25. Got ready for bed and the Disney Channel was on. They were showing Behind the Ears about Fantasia 2000. As long as its not the one about Dinosaur. I was watching the Bug Juice marathon on the Disney channel and they showed it over 6 times in the course of 2 and half hours!! So if I ever see it I hide and scream (seriously I really do) I went to bed at 2:00. My Dad and brother showed up at 2:35. The boys were asleep at 3:00 and my Mom went to bed at 3:15. Saturday, June 3rd-Day #4-RC, Trails End, EPCOT, ToN, I2000, Me and Dad-MK Dad got up at 9:00. He called National Car Rental at 10:15. See he was supposed to get a car but came back with a van. Well they said it was only 10 extra total but they billed us for like $200 dollars more!! We never exactly got it straightened out. I woke up at 10:30 because my dad was sitting on my bed and I guess I felt him and heard him too. I didn't even know the boys had arrived yet so I was kinda surprised to say the least. My brother and Mom got up at 10:45. My Dad got off the phone like at 11:00 or so. We decided after like 10 minutes of talking that we would go to River Country and then Epcot tonight. We all got dressed and Jacob, dad and me went to get drink refills and milk for our cereal. When we got back I had Fruit Loops and so did Jacob. He said they tasted funny so I ate his too!!(Yes, I know I'm a pig!) We got to Fort Wilderness at 11:45 and were at Gateway Depot at 11:50. Only waited 4 minutes for the bus and it took us to RC. I don't like FW bus system. Why can't it be like any other? But oh-well. We got in RC at 12:05. Of course the passes didn't work but oh-well. I think it has something to do with the way they were set up. Got sunscreen on and went to the big pool. I love how the water is green that's really cool. And I like the sand bottom. It's really nice on your feet. We went to the kiddie pool and Jacob went down the slide 3 times in a row. All because every time he went down we never looked at him, so he had to do it again. Then we went in the regular pool. Before we did that, we needed to wash all the sand off of us. We were only in there like 5 minutes before we decided to go do White Water Rapids. It's a water slide you go down in a tube. Very fun!! I got stuck and Jacob (who went behind me) almost passed me up. If you go down make sure to lift your butt up or you'll get stuck. Jacob thinking he's all that wouldn't let any of us pull him in. So there he was sitting in 6 feet water going now where. So my dad had to get out of his tube and pull him to the tube drop-off place. At 1:00 I went to go do the water slide. It's a body slide called Whoop-N-Holler Hollow. Very fun! At the end I went under water and got water up my nose! And that kind of hurt!!! I then went and did it 3 more times. I was tired because you land in 6 feet water and I had to swim the width of the pool to ride again. While I did that my brother did a rope thingy, and Tire Swing. I watched him do the Cable Ride. I should have done the one for teens but I really didn't feel like it. My Mom and I went to do the White Water Rapids while my Dad and Jacob went to play Volleyball. After we did that I went to play too. Jacob caught the ball and handed it to me. It was an inflatable one so it was rather easy to spike it over the net. I did that really well for a few serves and then a kid took the ball. Some guy said hey give it back to the professional server!! I felt so special!!! Well we ended up losing that game but played one more. I served half way through the game and scored 6 points. Ok the guy keeping score wasn't doing a very good job. At one point he said the score is 11 to 7. Then 5 seconds later he said it was 10 to 7!!! I was mad because that's the point I served! But at least we won that game. Jacob scored the game winning point. He was so happy!!!! After that we decided that it was time to leave. Boy is that sand hot when you don't have shoes on!! We got all our stuff and went over to the wash off place and cleaned the sand off of us. They didn't have a shower so my hair was really gross! But since we weren't in the chlorine water it wasn't too bad. On our way out we bought a RC magnet with Goofy on it. (COST $6.50) We then walked to Trail's End. We couldn't wait to see what it looked like. Last year when we ate there they were remodeling. Well it looked the same as it did in 1998. Oh-well. We were seated at once and the food was really good. Jacob and I had Pink Lemonade and Mom and Dad had Tea. We left Trail's End (COST $45.00) and went to the restrooms by Pioneer Hall. Then we walked to the bus stop and the Chip bus was waiting there for us! We got to the Gateway Depot at 3:30. Got back to the room at 3:47. It had a YUCKY smell. It was the room freshener that the maid had used. We propped the door open to get the smell out. Jacob has asthma and doesn't do well with air fresheners. Well we got out of our bathing suits and were all-asleep around 3:55. Dad got up at 5:30 and took a shower. Then my mom got up at 5:40 and took a shower. Jacob got up at 5:45 and took a shower when Mom was done. I was the last to get up and take a shower. Jacob and I went to get refills for us while my Mom and Dad finished getting ready. We were at the bus stop at 6:34. Only reason we didn't drive was because we were going to go to MK that night. We were at EPCOT at 7:00. I passed out the passes and Jacob ended up turning his upside down and all of them fell out. We didn't know until someone called my Dad's name. So I learned don't pass out passes until we are in line. We waited one minute for SE. Then we went to Innoventions East. Very different from when we went there in 1998. It's really nice though. Next we went to Mouse Gears and bought 2 passports (COST $21.20) I know I'm 13 but I really like doing the Kidcot thingys. They are cool and so are the passports!! I also have an autograph book but I think this is the last year I'll get it because when we go next I'll be 15 and I think that's a little old for those but I'll still take pics. Next we went to tour the Countries. 1st we did Rio del Tiempo. Only waited 2 minutes. For being in Spanish for a year I actually know what Tiempo meant (weather or time) and Rio meant (river). Then I thought about del and figured it out to. (It means de-from and el-the so in Spanish the combine the 2.) I think I learned more at WDW about Spanish than in class. (but only if u count the please stand clear of the doors on the monorail) Ok enough of my Spanish lesson. Next we did the Mexico passport thing. The masks they do this year are really cool. Then we had about 10 minutes until ToN started. Well we wanted Kaki-Goris in Japan so we booked it from Mexico to Japan. We got there in time and got good seats too. (COST $8.75 for 3 KG's and bottle of water) The lady next to us (she looked like Linda Hamilton with glasses) was singing and dancing to the music in the beginning. She knew the words to the opening. She had seen it many times obliviously. It was entertaining. Next we got a funnel cake (I think $3.50). We were about to leave when we found an open space in Germany. So we waited for I2000 to start for 20 minutes. It's good but I thought it was gonna be better. Now the fireworks display was excellent but not the show. All it did was have a globe and it spun around with people on it. Boring for my taste IMHO. Jacob and Mom went back to the room since Jacob was tired and Dad and I went to MK by monorail. We waited about 15 minutes for the monorail. They don't have enough of them going at all. The cutest thing happened on the monorail to TTC. I was standing up and the Dad was sitting there with his son and was talking to him. He said look at the ball because this will probably be the last time we see it before leaving tomorrow. (Ok that was the starter but listen to this...) and if any ever asked you what u did for the millennium you can say I went to Disneyworld. And when Mom and I are dead and you are 93 you can tell everyone in the nursing home that you went to Disneyworld for the millennium. And you can tell your kids and grandchildren. It went on but it was the cutest, sweetest thing I heard the whole trip! Ok anyway nothing else exciting happened on the ride to MK. Except when we got to MK at 10:10 the fireworks had just ended and it was a madhouse. Most people were leaving and there like the 10 of us actually coming in. Finally we got down Main Street and went to TomorrowLand to check out Space. The line was about 60 minutes so we skipped it. We then went to FantasyLand and checked out Pooh and Peter. Both were over 30 minute waits. So we rode Snow White and had an 8-minute wait (Happy). Next we went on IASW with no wait. In the "Africa" room the people behind us said that there was a hidden Mickey in the safari animals. I looked and didn't see it. I really wanted to find it because I have never found a hidden Mickey and I wanted to find as many as I could on this trip. I found it later (and another one, too!!) Next we went over to HM with a 2-minute wait. Next we went to Cosmic Rays to check out the line. We hadn't eaten a meal since 2:00 and it was 11 so I was hungry!! They only had sandwiches so we decided to go to Casey's. On the way over there we saw some of the MSEP. Well the parade was going on so we walked down the right hand side of the street until the America float and then crossed. The big bad wolf is really funny!!(I'm not gonna give away what he does though but to see it you have to sit on the right hand side of the parade) So we went to Casey's and had 2 hot dogs fries and coke. The coke was watered down but it was ok. (COST $13.78) I have these CD's (Disney's 75 years of music). It's has 3 CD's with 75 songs on it. The 1st song of the 3rd CD has the MSEP music. Well its from DL so when they say "Magic Kingdom's MSEP" I'm so used to saying DL I almost said it but stopped my self halfway. I don't know why they don't say Disney World's MSEP because it would have fit. Even Walt Disney world would have fit. But oh-well I think it would sound better if they said WDW but that's just me. We left MK at 11:40. We waited 2 minutes for the bus and it had TV's in it!!!!!!! It was so cool!!! They showed previews for Little Mermaid 2 and all the theme parks. It had park hours except it was for May but it was cool. It also had the date and time, too. We were in the room at 12:07. My Mom told me that Jacob had just fallen asleep like 30 minutes before we came. Oh-well we got ready for bed and went to asleep around 12:40. My Mom and brother got back to the room at 10:30. On the bus ride home the bus driver kept telling them jokes. Then they went to eat at the food court. They ate Cheese Pizza, cookie, brownie and a rice krispie treat. (COST $10.93) Sunday, June 4th-Day #5-MK, pool, dad loses contact, AK, RFC (and a horrid story) Mom got up at 8:12. Jacob, Dad and I got up at 8:20. We had pop tarts for breakfast. We left the room at 8:45 and were on the bus at 8:58. We got to MK at 9:10 and got our picture taken. Next, we went to go get FP for Space. It said come back between 9:35-10:35. We passed the Speedway and the line didn't look too long and this would probably be the shortest we would ever see it so we rode it. Had only a 14-minute wait. It's only that they load so slowly!!!! I think they need to add some excitement into the ride!!! Look at Autopia at DL-its beautiful!!! And look what we have!! They don't compare-ya'll need to do a lot better!!!(Even though they just remodeled it...hehe) We went to use our FP for Space and had a 5-minute wait. (Car #28-right side) Walked over to Toontown Fair and all did Barnstormer. Then Jacob and I rode it two more times without getting off. Ok, to get a better ride on Barnstormer sit in one of the 2 back seats and close your eyes until after you go down the hill. You are going to feel like you are going so fast!!! I was like whoa isn't this supposed to be a kiddie roller coaster?!?!!? Jacob went in Donald's Boat and got wet (he loves to get wet). Then, we went and rode the Teacups with a 5-minute wait. My Mom and I were in a pink cup and Dad and Jacob were in a purple one. We then walked over and did IASW with a 2-minute wait. (blue boat). The boys did TTA with no wait while my Mom and I walked over and got FP for Splash. The time said come back between 11:35-12:35. So we walked back to meet the boys at TTA. We all rode with no wait. We were hungry and decided to eat at Comic Rays. We went in and it looked like there was no place to sit and it wasn't even noon!! I was so surprised by this because September was never like this...lol!!! So we ate from 11:20-12:00 and watched Sonny Eclipse. I had Hot dog with fries. Mom had a fried chicken sandwich with fries. We shared a Coke (My Mom was tired of Lemonade and I had been having Coke for like the last day or so) Jacob had a kids hot dog with fries which he barely ate. Whenever his allergies act up he never eats. He barely ate anything on this whole trip. My Dad had a Fried Chicken Sandwich with fries. They had a Sprite to drink. (COST-$28.84) After eating, we walked over to Splash to use our FP. We had a 14-minute wait. Would have gone faster but the ride shut down for 3 minutes because I guess someone stood up. (At least that's what the message said-Please don't stand up in your vehicle) Got a water refill and went to get our MK picture. While everyone else was in line for the picture I went exploring through the Camera Center. I had never done this before and it was so cool. In the Expo Hall they have cutouts of Steamboat Willie, 101 Dalmatians, Snow White, and Toy Story that you can take pictures in. They were chosen because 1st cartoon with sound, 1st to use the duplicate cell something (I know what its called but I forgot the name), and 1st full-length animated feature and 1st feature to be made entirely by computer. Very cool and they also had games for you to test. They had Who Wants to be a Millionaire but someone was already on it. After Mom got our MK pic (COST $13.00) we went take pics at the Expo Hall. After that we realized that we had lost the bottle of water somewhere so we went looking for it. After walking the whole place about 2 times we decided that someone took it. So we left to go back to the hotel. Had no wait for the bus and got in our room and 1:23. Everyone got refills when we went to get them. Mom, Jacob and I decided to go swimming. My Dad was taking out his contact and then he said that he couldn't find it. It just "popped' out of his eye. So we spent the next 15 minutes looking all around the sink for it. Never found it so he said yall go to the pool and I'll stay here and look for it. We went to the pool at 1:50. Finally, I went down the slide with Jacob. It was ok but not what I expected. I guess I still remember when I was 9 and wanted to stay at PO just to go down the slide. Oh well it was fun anyway. We went back to the room at 3:30 and all three of us took a shower. Dad didn't find his contact and he said that he told the housekeeper Mattie about it. We went to get refills at 4:05 and then we went to get in the van to go to AK. Got to AK at 4:28 and parked in Unicorn 22. Ok about the add-on to AK I think it's going to be the mythical land because I read the entire book of "Since the World Began" and it was written in 1997. It said there were going to be 3 lands and one of them was the mythical one. It sounded really cool and maybe that's why they have the Unicorn parking lot. On, top of that another book I have it shows drawings of DinoLand U.S.A. with a roller coaster in the background so maybe there will be a roller coaster, too. First thing we did was look at the show times and FotLK started in less than 5 minutes so we walked over there and they said last seating. We ran over to the entrance and we were seated in the Giraffe section. When it was over, we were right by an entrance but they made us walk over to the main one :(. Oh-well Next we checked out the tip board and it said Kali had no wait. Walked over there and rode it with no wait. We weren't excepting to get wet because we rode it 3 times in a row in September and no one got wet at all. Unless you consider 10 drops getting wet. Well, since they add the fountain in the middle the "river" you will get wet. I'm sorry but I'm disappointed in the ride because its short and they use cheap tricks to get you wet. Popeye is about 5 times better it's longer and you will get wet. My Mom and I got off while the boys rode again. Then they got off and I decided to ride with my brother. They let us stay on so we rode again. By this time the left side of me is wet and the right side is dry. (Well, at least for my khaki shorts it is) Next, we walked through the Maharajah Jungle Trek. We saw the bats, tigers, and birds. Next rode Dinosaur with a 2-minute wait. I DO NOT LIKE THIS RIDE. It's way to real and too loud. I don't think they toned it down at all. My mom said that they did because it wasn't as bumpy or jerky. She hates it more than I do. I just feel like its too real. My brother loves it because he loves dinosaurs (but then he the one curled up under Mom) We went shopping at the mercantile store. The Cm that checked us out was really slow!!!!!(COST $18.54) Next we went to RFC for our PS for 7:15. Oh gosh, never ever again will I EVER eat at RFC at AK. Horrible, horrible horrible!!!! Let me explain our story. We go to the Elephant to check in and they said to go to the Atlas Room line. (It's the PS line) and when we got there and there were at least 20 or 30 people in line. I was like do we get to skip all of the people-my Mom said no. Ok then the regular line had about 10 people in it. Ok they seated all of the regular people before us!!! All of us had PS and we were all getting sick of it. The lady in front us went to complain and then the hostess said we are doing the best we can. Ok. More and more people were complaining and finally she came over to my Dad and said you still have your passport!! Ok, everyone in line had their passport and that was why we weren't seated. The stupid hostess had never taken them up!!!! So, after waiting there for 22 minutes it was something as easy as that! In less than 5 minutes all 20 of us were seated!! Now wasn't that easy?!!? We had a waiter named Chad. Dad asked to speak to the manager to tell him about it to make sure it never happens again. The mangers name was Jimmy and he was very nice!!! I know he was having a hard night considering probably all 20 of us were yelling at him!! Ok we ordered and then waited 30 minutes and still didn't have our food. Everyone, around us did-even those who came after us!!! Chad said he didn't know how much longer. So here came Jimmy again to talk to us and found out where our food was. He said it would be out in less than 5 minutes and it was!!! Jimmy came back over and said that with all of the trouble we had been though that he would give us a free dessert. The name was Chocolate Volcano. I had a kids chicken tenders and pizza with lemonade to drink. Jacob had kids spaghetti with Sprite. Mom had buffalo chicken salad with tea. Dad had some steak with tea to drink. After we were done eating we got our free dessert. It was great but I would never get it. It was $15 bucks regular price!!!!! That's a little too expensive for us!!!! Mom and dad paid the bill while me and Jake went around to figure out what we wanted to buy. (COST-56.85) So, my Mom charged 6.85 to the room. ($50 dollar in gift certificates from Freeride) We bought our souviers and spent $30.71. We paid .71 cents. ($30 dollar in gift certificates from Freeride) While we were shopping a family went out a set of doors. It turns out the doors go back to AK!! It was kind of stupid for them not to lock them but I saw a CM dash across the store to tell them that was back to the park and to go out the other way. We left RFC at 9:10. So we have been at RFC for over 2 hours now. It was very easy to figure out where are car was. It was the only one in the whole Unicorn parking lot!!!!! Oh-well it only costs us $7.56! Got back to the hotel at 9:25. Jacob and I went to the arcade. I was in my pajamas. (I was way too tired to put regular clothes.lol) Well, we spent about 5 dollars and then went back to the room. My mom took another bath. We were all asleep by 11:30. Monday June 5th-Day #6-IOA, Belz, Winter Summerland golf Dad got up at 5:45. Mom got up at 6:13. Jacob and I got up at 6:25. We were all ready by 6:50 and left. We got to USF at 7:07. We were in line to pay for parking at 7:12. People are so slow. When we were next the person was asking how she could park on the 3rd level (not the 2nd like the rest of us) We were parked in King Kong 210/211 at 7:15. Never have we parked anywhere but Kong on any trip with the parking garage. Oh-well. If we ever parked anywhere else then we know that the parks are busy!!! Ok we have 2-day passes left over from last year and are going to do both parks on 2 separate days and do Express too. I can not say how good Express was (except on E.T.) but it was wonderful until about 10 then you don't want to be caught dead in Marvel Comic Island. Lots and lots of people!!! We were in the park at 7:28. My Mom had already warned us to expect waits but it was almost just like last year. We did Spidey with a 5-minute wait. Now, that's a good ride!!! Wonderful but not my favorite. Next, my Mom and I went to ride Hulk while the boys went to Seuss Landing. We had a 4-minute wait. Now, this is what I call a roller coaster!!!!! At one of the parks the days before (I think it was at EPCOT) I heard someone say, "Don't ride Hulk it goes 80 miles per hour." Ok, 1st of all that's not possible and it doesn't. The coolest part is when you shoot out of the tunnel. It's a great ride and I would recommend it to anyone that's loves coasters. We went to Seuss Landing and to find the boys and they weren't there so we rode Cat in the Hat with no wait. It's a great ride. I think it better than Pooh. Sorry, I have this thing against Pooh since it went in the place of Mr. Toad!!! But really, it is better, you spin around and it's really cool. Next we did one fish, 2 fish, and red fish, blue fish with no wait. We got wet even though we followed the directions but its easy not to get wet. To not get wet follow these directions-Look at the squirter ahead of you if it squirts at the top then the middle it's going to squirt at the top next!!! And vice-versa! Still haven't found the boys so we rode the Caro-suess-el with a 1-minute wait. When we were on the Caro-seus-el we saw the boys walking. They saw and waited. While we were on Hulk they did Cat in the Hat, 1 fish, 2 fish, red fish, blue fish and Caro-suess-el. Next, we made our way over to Lost Continent. Oh yeah, I was telling my Mom how they could make a Sneecthes ride and as we walked over to Lost Continent lo and behold there was a sign that said Sneetches coming 2001!!! Now I can't wait to go back in 2002!!! Mom and I did Dueling Dragons and timed the queue. It took 6 minutes just to walk through the queue area!! And we weren't walking slow!! And not to mention that's really dark in there and it's hard to see where you are going!!! We rode on Ice with a 2-minute wait. Then we went and got back in line and rode Fire with a 2-minute wait. Ice is way better because you can see the "near-misses" a lot better. My Mom said she'd never ride Fire again because it hurt. (It might have something to do with the fact that she had on 2 seat belt things instead of one) We called it the seat of death. Next we rode Jurassic Park with a 3-minute wait. Only thing is that the ride is short and the drop is even shorter. The drop is not scary at all. Of course, Jacob started crying when he got on it but when he got off he loved it! Next we rode Popeye with no wait. That queue is long too. You walk right past the loading dock and all the way around!!! We rode it twice without getting off. It's a lot better than Kali. Next we rode Dudley with a 5-minute wait because they had technical difficulties. Only thing wrong with Dudley is that you need your own seats. I don't feel as comfortable sitting between someone's legs. It was fun though. A wannabe of Splash Mtn., drop and everything!! But not near as good!!!! My Mom and I went to ride Hulk before our Express was done and had a 4-minute wait when stand-by was 1 hour. After Hulk we went to ride CitH(Cat in the Hat) with a 1-minute wait. and Caro-seuss-el again with no waits. We rode CitH with the boys and had a 4-minute wait. It had technical difficulties-all it was that a car got stuck but they came out and fixed it. We also did If I Ran the Zoo and The Sneetch Beach. On the Sneetch beach all there is, is to take pictures and they have the Zax's there!!!!! Sorry, but I love Dr. Seuss!! We got Poseidon Fast Track and Mom and I went ride Dueling Dragons one more time while the boys went to get pizza for Jacob for lunch. Rode on Ice 2 times with a 4-minute wait both times. We waited outside Enchanted Oak Tavern for about 10 minutes then the boys finally showed up. They said at 11:20 they had no pizza so they had to wait for it to be cooked!!! I got the kids Chicken Tenders with Coke, Mom and Dad got Baked Chicken with a tea and Sprite. (COST-$30.50) Next we used our FT for Poseidon's Fury. Great show like last time except the "surprise" at the end didn't happen!!! I was so mad!!! I saw some people complaining to the worker. They should have all let us go again!!! We walked around and took pictures. We decided it was time to leave so we went to the store at the entrance and bought souvies. Jacob got this cool Spiderman flashlight and I got this Sneetches statue that's in my room now. (COST-$17.27) At 2:00 we were out of USF. And decided to go to Belz. I told my Dad to take the highway a certain way (I have a 6th sense about these things sometime) and of course I was right!!!! We drove all the way to Lake Buena Vista (that was the 1st place to turn around at) we got to Belz at 2:25. First we went to Character Warehouse and were there for about an hour and spent $ 118.50. Then we went over to the other mall and went to Character Premiere and spent about 30 minutes there. They have almost the same stuff. We spent $93.97. Jacob and I got each a TZToT backpack. They are so cool!!! They have Mickey in front of the elevator shaft with nothing in front of it!! I don't think know why he got one-he doesn't even like the ride!!! Next we drove over to DxL to get slushies. We get there and they don't have them anymore!!!! Last year when we went to look at PO we walked over to DxL and got slushies!! I'm so glad we didn't walk over here for nothing!!! We got to PO at 4:27 and watched T.V. and rested before going to play putt-putt golf. We left PO at 6:36 to go to play golf and eat at Pizza Hut. We got to Pizza Hut at about 6:50. We got a medium Pepperoni and a medium meat. Jacob had a kid cheese pizza. The cost was $30 and we paid in Gift certificates from Freeride. We got there at about 8 and played the Summer course. On the 15th hole Jacob hit his ball in the bushes. Mom and Dad looked for it and I took one look and found it right away! My Mom won, Dad 2nd, me 3rd, and Jacob last. He was sad that he lost though. We got back to the hotel around 9:15 and relaxed and all went to bed earlier than usual. Tuesday, June 6th-Day #7- Studios, MK, E-night Dad got up at 7:30. Mom got up at 8:10. I got up at 8:15. Jacob got up at 8:20. We left PO at 8:45 and drove to Studios. We got to Studios at 8:51 but didn't park until 8:58. People kept stopping the Cm that was telling you where to park and asking him questions. We parked in Stage 45. We got in the park at 9:05 and went straight to R 'n R. I went to go get FP for R 'n R while everyone else waited in the regular line. Ok, I got all 4 of them and sat them on top of the ticket machine while I put up the last AP (one big mistake). I put the AP's in our bag and got the FP. I counted and there were only 3!!!!!! I know I did all 4 because I had them in separate piles. Jacob came over and I told him to tell Mom that I lost one. Of course, he never did. So I told Mom and she helped me look for it but we never found it. :( Oh-well we didn't use them anyway. Got off R 'n R while Dad and Jacob got the picture.(COST $17.97) We decided to get the pic because we weren't going to get the MGM picture. While they did that Mom and I went to go get in line for TZToT. They announced that one side of the ride was broken down so it meant a much longer wait. We decided not to wait so we went to meet the boys. But before that we got FP for TZToT with our rooms keys! It really worked, too!!! So I went back to R 'n R and got another FP for R 'n r with another one of the room keys. The TZToT FP said to return between 10:50-11:50. The R 'n R one said to return between 11:20-12:20. Next we went over to Star Tours and rode with a 5-minute wait. Then we went to GMR. I was hoping we would have a wait just so I could see the movie part of Singin' in the Rain and we did have a wait. But it was 20-minutes!!!!!!! Oh-well I got to see it and they cut out all of the good parts!!!!! :( :( I know because I have it on DVD and watch it a lot. I was really disappointed. At least I figured out the name of the movie I wanted to see. It's called "Footlight Parade". I can't wait to go look for it. Mom and I went back to TZToT while the boys rode R 'n R. We decided that we would meet at Backlot Express for lunch. We went to TZToT and they said that since it was broken down only FP was open and the FP was honored all day. The wait was 45 minutes!!!! Way too long considering we will be back here many times and wont have to wait that long. We went to see Beauty and the Beast with a 4-minute wait until the show. 4 for a Dollar were singing and they were good. The show was good except they had one part where they were fighting that was way too long (not to mention boring). I know it's because they have to change costumes but couldn't they do something a little bit more exciting??? We went to Backlot Express and the boys were there with our food. They waited about 10 minutes for R 'n R. I had a hot dog with fries. Mom had a Chicken Sandwich with fries. We shared a Coke. Jacob had a hot dog with fries. Dad had a cheeseburger with fries. The boys shared a Sprite. (COST $26.45) Next we did Muppets with a 7-minute wait until the next show. We saw Ricky Rat (aka Rizzo) as Mickey. "Hello, welcome to my park. How ya doing?" That is the biggest joke of the whole trip. I love the pre-show more than the show. Next we all got snacks. Jacob got a Strawberry Bar. (COST $2.25) Then we went to Sweet Spells. Mom got a caramel Apple and Peanut Butter Fudge, Dad got Vanilla Walnut fudge, Minnie Chocolate Cherry for Jacob and I got Cotton Candy. (COST $11.72). After getting our snacks we went to catch the tram to the parking lot. We were back at PO at 1:30. We got dressed to go to the pool, but before we went to the pool we went to put in 2 loads of laundry. We got to the pool at 1:55. I went back to the room at 2:30 and Mom and Jacob came back at 3:15. Jacob and dad played catch in the grass in front of our room. Mom and I watched Ricki Lake and Maury. I feel asleep during Maury, though. I got up and got dressed. While I did we watched Fresh Prince and half of Friends. We left PO at 7:25 and went to the TTC to park. We parked in Dopey 107. At 7:40 we were at TTC getting ready to take the monorail. We got to MK at 7:55 and got our E-night bands with about a 5-minute wait. We decided we would eat at Pecos Bills and El Pirata y el Perico. Mom and I went to El Pirata while the boys waited. The line was long so I went back to the table while Jacob and Dad got their food. I got so bored that I took out my map and started counting how many symbols there were on the map. Mom came back with the food and said she waited 17 minutes. OK, she said that I should get the taco salad because it was really good. Well she forgot to say no lettuce (since I don't like it) so I have a taco salad with a pound of lettuce. I gave as much as I could to Mom but the taco salad was gross. I should have gotten the tacos like I had already planned on. But I told Dad to get Chili cheese fries so that's what I ate most of. (COST $12.97(El Pirata) and $16.65(Pecos Bills)) We were done eating at 8:45. They had 2 bands march. One of them was from Brownsville, TX. I wondered why my school never came to WDW to march but then I realized it. The bands had like less than 100 people. We have like almost 200 people so that's probably why. We watched MSEP and it was great. I love this parade!!! I don't remember SpectroMagic (considering I saw it in 1996 and that was a while ago) so I can't compare them. After the parade we bought Jacob a twirling Mickey Mouse (COST $12) and went to ride PotC. Of course we had no wait. When we got out of it as the fireworks had just started. The fireworks were good and I really like the music. Yeah, E-night time!!! We rode BTMRR with a 3-minute wait. Then did Splash with an 8-minute wait. We got the picture. (COST $10.55) Every picture we have on Splash Mtn. has us in our own boat but not this year. But at least they all smiled and had their hands up. It turned out really cute. Then we rode BTMRR with a 12-minute wait. We walked over to the other side of the park and rode Buzz with a 5-minute wait. Longest we have ever waited for Buzz!!! lol! The scores were: MOM-218,900 DAD-93,900 ME-12,800 and JACOB-12,100. I did really bad but oh-well. We went to ride Space with an 8-minute wait and guess what?!!? WE RODE ON THE LEFT SIDE!!!!! Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The first time in 3 years. We were celebrating, giving hi-fives, and dancing. I bet we looked really stupid to the people behind us. I like the left side better though. The drop at the end is better. I almost lost my sunglasses. I sat in the back car and had them on my shirt. Going down the last drop they flew off my shirt. I keep saying I lost my sunglasses, I lost them. But when I got out of the car they had just flown in my seat. I really like those sunglasses!!! I'm glad I didn't lose them. We rode Space again with a 9-minute wait. We then rode Buzz with a 5-minute wait. I got my highest score on that game. I had over 100,000!! I was so happy!! Then we rode Buzz again with a 5-minute wait. Then went back to ride Space with a 13-minute wait. Mom and Jacob went to get Icee's while Dad and I rode Buzz with no wait. Literally, we walked all the way through the queue and got right on. (Just like in the old days....lol) We got 4 Icees. (COST $9.00). Dad and Jacob got Cherry. I got Blueberry and Mom got Surge. (Her favorite Coke was broken) They were good, too. We were on the monorail at 1:15. We finally got to our car at 1:35 and were back at PO at 1:45. We were all tired!! Jacob went to bed at 2. I went to bed at 2:15. Dad went to bed at 2:30 and Mom went to bed at 3. Wednesday, June 7th- RFC, DisneyQuest, pack up to go to Contemporary Resort in the morning. Mom got up at 9:45. Jacob got up at 9:50. Dad got up at 9:55 and I got up at 10:10. We got dressed and ready by 10:38 and headed to RFC. Got to RFC at 10:52 and were seated at 10:53. We had all ordered at 10:56. I got the kids chicken tenders and pizza, Jacob got kids spaghetti, Dad got Chicken and Mom got Volcanic Cobb Salad. We got our drinks 10:56. I got Lemonade (not the frozen one though); Jacob got Sprite, Mom and Dad got tea. We were served at 11:12. Their food was good (like always) and cost $ . We went to the RFC store and spent the rest of our gift certificates and bought some shirts and such. (COST $ .) We then drove over to DQ. We were there at DQ at 12:15. We bought our tickets and got the 20% AP discount. My Mom bought every card known to man with a discount to see which one had the biggest discount!!!......hehe!! (COST $91.00) We were in DQ at 12:20 and went to Cyberspace Mountain. Mom and I had a 3 rating and the boys had a 2. When we were waiting in line the CM told us ways to get a 5. We had like a 20-minute to ride it. When we rode it, it was pretty lame so we decided to make another one right then and go back later to ride it(when the line was shorter). This time we had a 5!!!! Yay!!! The boys had a 3. (They aren't big roller coaster fans) Mom and Jacob went to play air hockey and do Daytona racing while Dad and I walked around. We met back up and did Buzz. The worst ride ever. We were trying to run over stupid balls to shoot and got stuck by a wall and another car and couldn't get out!!!!! Oh-well now we never have to ride again!!! Next we did Mighty Ducks Pinball Game. Ok, DO NOT get #12 or #9. I got 12 and it got stuck at the bottom of the screen for half of the game!!!! It made me so mad!!! Ok Jacob got 4th place, Dad 5th, Mom 6th, and me 12th(all because I got stuck) I thought that it was just me but when we went and did it again I noticed #12 getting stuck an awful lot!!! So it wasn't just me!!!! Next we went to the Explore Zone and did Virtual Jungle Cruise with a 4-minute wait. It was quite a workout!!!!! Very tiring and kind of hard to do. We did Treasure of the Incas with no wait. It was really loud so I couldn't hear the directions my Mom was telling me. I was right by the Treasure and didn't even know it!!!! Next we went to do Aladdin with an 18-minute wait. It took them (I mean him..hehe) forever to load. You have to go in groups of 4 so while they are trying to get the helmets on some of the things sat unused for 5 minutes!!! They need to figure something out with that ride. But at least we beat the game but it still wasn't worth the wait. Next we went to ride Cyberspace Mountain. Oh-gosh the riding thing makes it so much worse on loops. After doing all the corkscrews we had I'm surprised I didn't throw-up. It was making me sick-I think it had something to do with the fact I was sliding all around the seat and it was beginning to hurt!!! We decided we needed a snack and went to the food court. We got a good cheesecake, chili cheese fries, some pizza, drinks and a frozen Lemonade. (Which I had to go to all three little food places to finally find a machine that worked!!) (COST $15.01) while we ate we got on the Internet only to find out I can't check my e-mail. In 1998 I did but I understand why because of all the viruses and they don't want WDW to come crashing down. So I got on the DIS Trivia Boards and read around to see if there was anything worthwhile. It's too hard to move the mouse; I just said forget it and went with the rest of the family to go do Daytona. Mom and Jacob did it then Dad and I. I think Dad got 2nd place. He beat me!!! I got 5th!!! Oh-well. Next we played air hockey. Mom and Jacob played twice in a row and Mom won both times. I played Jacob and won. Dad played Jacob and won. I played Dad and lost!!! :( He was really good. He used the strategy of bouncing it off the wall. While we were playing Air Hockey Jacob and Mom played Mighty Ducks and Jacob got 1st!!!! Mom got 3rd so that's still good. Then Dad and I played. I got like 5th and Dad got like 3rd or 4th. See I did better not being on #12 so it was the machine not me!!! I decided to split up from them and spend time in the Create Zone. I went to build another roller coaster. I got a 5 and named it Cyber Chariot. But I didn't wait in line for it I went to do Sid's Create-a-Toy. My toy sure was ugly...lol!!!!! Next I went to the Magic Mirror. My face looked ok until I started twisting it and stuff. Next I waited in line to do the Song Maker. Some people were finished with their 1st song then went to make a 2nd one. Then in one booth I saw like 5 people in there all making their own song!! Only thing is they need more booths. Next I went back to do the Magic Mirror again. I looked really bad in this pic but oh-well. Then I went to make another song. The 1st song was called " I can't lose you" and the 2nd one was called "Let's party tonight". I liked the 2nd one better. I made it to be a Soul singer with Jazz music and it sounded cool. (The Alternative singer made it sound like Grunge-which is one type of music that gets on my nerves!!) I could have bought my song for $10 dollars but decided not to. Then I got in line to ride my roller coaster. About 5 minutes after I was in line Mom, Dad and Jacob came in. Jacob wanted to ride a 5 so him and Mom built one. Dad came and rode with me. He said it wasn't that bad after all so Jacob said he liked it too. Then I went with them to watch them do the Magic Mirror. They went back to the Score Zone to do air hockey, Mighty ducks and Daytona. I stayed in the Create Zone and did the Magic Mirror. Since the Goofy class just started I decided to watch them and save 2 seats for my Mom and I to draw Mickey. Ok this is what Mom, Dad and Jacob did while I was gone. Jacob played two boys in air hockey and won both times. Then Mom and Jacob went to do Buzz 2 more times. Then they did Mighty Ducks and Mom got 1st again. While I sat and watched the people draw Goofy, Mom did Daytona while the boys did air hockey. Mom then did Mighty Ducks. Then the boys joined her in another game and Mom got 1st. Mom waited with me and the boys went off. We drew Mickey and of course Mom drew it almost professionally. I can't draw to save my life and it looked pretty good!!! We bought our drawing for $8.48 total for the both of them. Mom and I did Sid's Create-a-Toy and the Living Easel. The easel was really cool!!! We waited and for boys then finally went to go look for them and found them in Score Zone. Then boys had done Cyberspace Mountain (Cyber Rocket was the name) then they went to go do Daytona and Mighty Ducks. Dad and I went to the DQ store while Mom and Jacob went to go find a restroom. We ended up spending $57.24 on shirts, magnets, etc. We left to find out it had rained because it was really cloudy and the ground was wet. We got back to PO at 7:45. Then we went to Sassagoula to eat dinner one last time. (COST $33.01) we ended up buying a whole pizza and only ate like half of it. Oh-well Next we went back to the room and packed for like the next hour or so. Then Mom, Jacob and I went to the PO gift store. We got shirts, magnets, cups etc. I saw a Birhnaums' book-it was the one for kids. I remembered that Danielle Thomas said that she did that a few years ago. I flipped through it and found her picture!! Yay!!! One pic and only one to go (Joe Riccitelli) I thought she would look like that except I thought her hair would be blonder. (COST $75.26) Then we went back to the room and finished packing. Jacob went to sleep at 11:00. I went to sleep at 11:15. Dad at 11:45 and Mom at 12:15. Thursday, June 8th-Day #9- CR, AK (for Donald's) Blizzard Beach, boys to baseball game Dad got up at 7:45. Mom got up 8:00. Jacob and I got up at 8:20. We got dressed and packed the car while Mom filmed the room and took pictures. We left PO at 9:08. We got to CR at 9:15. I stayed in the car while Mom, Dad and Jacob went in. I listened to one of my many Disney CD's. (I ended up buying 3 on this trip-brings the total to 11..lol....but I didn't bring all of those on the trip) There was no wait to check-in. The CM's name was Marva and Mom said she was really dingy. She wasn't going to give us express checkout. She also didn't ask about charging on Jacob's and my cards so she had to do them over again. It took her almost 20 minutes just to check-in!!!! After all of that we went to AK. We got there at 9:50 and parked in Dinosaur 37. We took the tram but had to separate because it was packed!!! Oh-well we only came to eat. Which was not the original plan. We got in the park at 10:02 and went straight to Donald's Breakfastosaurus. We got our picture done at 10:15 and were seated at 10:19. We came here in 1998 and it was really fun. We saw Donald Mickey, Goofy, and Pluto. The food was good and cost $63.00. We also bought our picture (COST $26.50) before we left one of the Cm's (Billy was his name) did a Sugar trick. He poured a pack of sugar in his hand and opened his hand and it was gone. He then closed his hand and poured it on my plate. I want to know how he did that!!! Oh-well We then went to buy souvies for $22.24. Jacob got a Goofy to go with his Mickey and Minnie at home. I got a Tigger to go with my Pooh and Piglet at home. Also we got magnets and such. Next we went to the car and changed to go to Blizzard Beach. We got to BB at 12:00. We found a chair in the Ski Patrol place. We went and did Teamboat Springs with about a 15-minute wait. Next we did the Lazy River. When we went through the cave and I didn't get wet at all. So I never had to get cold!! Yay!!! Mom and Jacob went in the wave pool while Dad and I went to do Snow Stormers. Snow Stormers is very fun!!! Mom and Jacob also did a slide and a tube slide in the Ski Patrol. After that we all went to the wave pool and then did Runoff rapids. Which was very fun considering dad was in my double tube and we were flying up on the sides. Mom and I went to call and see if your room is ready yet. It was Room 7113, North Garden Room. Yeah we got the one close to MK and it is one the 1st floor. We all went to the Ski Patrol the water was to cold so I sat on the side and was just thinking (I had nothing better to do). We decided we were going to leave in like 10 minutes so Jacob, Dad and I went to do Snow Stormers and Jacob said he really liked it. We packed all our stuff and left to go to go to the gift shop to buy a magnet. (COST $ 4.24) Then we went back to the car to and went CR to find our room. We got to CR at 3:15 and drove through the parking lot. There is nowhere to park!!! So Dad drives to the front and drops the entire luggage off and goes on the adventure of finding a parking spot. Mom stayed outside with the luggage while Jacob and I brought it to the room. Then Jacob stayed outside while Mom and I bought some of it in. Mom started filming and taking pictures because our hotel rooms get very messy....lol! We forgot Jacob and he was out there for like 5 minutes..oops!!! We went to go get Jacob and went to the room. Jacob went to the playground while we started unpacking. We could see him through the patio door. The playground was right there. Dad finally came back to say that he parked REAL close to Space Mountain. He said the reason there is no parking is because of the convention going on. But also it could be from people not staying here using the monorail to go to MK. The monorail is the biggest waste of time if you stay at CR. It takes at least 15-20 minutes just to get to MK. We walked there in less than 10. The monorail is so overrated. I'll explain more throughout the trip about how much the monorail sucks. We unpacked most of everything and watched Rosie. Then we went to the Food 'N Fun Center to eat our dinner. We bought our mugs and got our food. (COST $72.87) They have the best fries in the world. PO fries were gross, but these are good. PO fries taste like our fries at school. CR has seasoning on them-which makes them really good. On TV at the FnFC we watched the Torkelsons and Growing Pains. I haven't watched the Torkelsons in about year and I watch Growing Pains every day so I was glad I got to watch my favorite shows. We went back to the room and Mom soaked in the tub for her aching back, while the boys went to the game room. I watched the beginning of Smart Guy (which is a show I can not stand) and feel asleep. The boys decided to go to the Orlando Rays game at Wide World of Sports. We were going to a park but Mom didn't want to. I was kind of mad considering I haven't been to a theme park in 2 days!!! So we stayed home and watched Diagnosis Murder on CBS. It came on twice and was very good!!! Then we watched 48 hours. A few years they had a48 hours about a girl named Alicia battling anorexia and I watched it so I decided to watch the update. It was interesting and also it showed stuff about more and more teens getting cosmetic surgery. The boys were back at 11:00. They said that the Carolina Mudcats were in the same league as the Rays. My brother is on the All-Star team back home and their name is the Mo City Mudcats. That would have been cool if they would have played the Rays. We all went to sleep around 11:30. Friday, June 9th-Day #10- EPCOT EE, Garden Grill, MGM, Fantasmic We all got up early and got to EPCOT at 7:35. Parked in Journey 4. We got our picture done and went straight to Test Track. We had a 10-minute wait from the time we got in line until we got on the ride. It was fun like always. We got a FP for TT to come back at 8:40-9:40. We then went to the Wonders of Life Pavilion. We did Body Wars with an 8-minute wait. The lady behind us was asking the CM how fast TT went and if she should go on it. Mom tried to convince her too but I don't know if it worked. She thought 60 mph was too fast but once you are there it is really nice. Jacob did the stationary bike and Mom and I did the Met-Life profile. We then did the feely things before going to Cranium Command and had a 1-minute wait for that. I really like this show. Before we left Wonders of Life we took a picture at the X-ray machine. We have taken that picture every year since 1996!!!! We went to do Test Track-stand-by was a 75-minute wait!!! We had FP and had an 11-minute wait. We did JIYI with a 6-miute wait. It was ok but I really don't remember the old one. I went back later to ride again (probably the only person to ever do so). We did HISTA with a 15-minute wait. Before the True Colors program the CM said today was Donald Duck's 66th birthday!!! Didn't know that. After that we did Living Seas and watched the movie. Waited and waited and waited................it rained and rained and rained.......... We saw the fish and the manatees. Jacob didn't want to do this but we couldn't get him out of there. I really don't like animals that much so I really wanted to leave before we did. Next we went for our PS at Garden Grill. We had a 10-minute wait until we were seated. We saw Chip, Dale and Mickey within a span of 5 minutes. They need another character-maybe Minnie or Goofy. The food was really good and our waiter was really good. Every time, he brought us food he would sing a song. (COST $73.00) Next we waited about 9 minutes for Living with Land boat ride. It's really interesting in the green house. There were these people behind who talked the whole time the CM was talking in the different scenes. It wasn't so bad except that it was in Spanish and it was loud. Next we did Circle of Life with no wait. It is a good little show. I wouldn't mind seeing it again. We took a potty break. Next we saw Food Rocks. I like this show, too. Then I went to do JIYI one more time while everyone else went to get the picture. I got on JIYI with less than a minute wait. I like this part at the end with the loud noise and the big burst of air. I was hoping the lady in front of me wouldn't take her glasses and they would fly off but she took them off. I also like all the optical illusions. I was debating over whether or not to do Singles Line on TT or not. I decided to and had like a 5-minute wait while stand-by was posted as 90 minutes. FP was already at about 7 o'clock!!! It was fun until we got to the brakes place and the ride broke down!!! It kept jerking us and it really hurt!!! And they didn't let us ride again oh-well!! I was going to do Spaceship Earth but I saw the monorail about to pull into the monorail station so I ran all the way to the monorail. I was tired. I had to stand so it kind of made it worse. I got to the TTC in about 15 minutes. I got off the EPCOT monorail and go on the resort one. We went to Poly, GF, MK and finally CR. It took me over 20 minutes to get from the TTC to CR!!! That's how long it takes from CR to get to MK. Because I was TTC and needed to really go one stop backwards. So it's the same with CR to MK. That's a little to long for me. I got back to hotel and was waiting for an elevator I saw a couple with 2 kids go to the escalators and I followed them down. It took shorter than the elevator. Right before I got to the elevator the doors closed and there was a stroller on it. When I got off the escalator I saw the same stroller was just getting off!!! I went the back way to the room thru the patio and my Mom had heard me and opened the door. I got back to the room at 2:05. Mom said the boys went to the arcade and what they did. They did Ice Station Cool and watched the fountains. They were by the fountains around the same time I went to ride TT. Then they bought the picture. (COST $13.73) If I would have not done TT I would had beat them back and I would have been mad!!! Dad took the car back and they took the monorail. Dad got back to the room at 1:35. They got to the room at 2:05. Before going back to the room Jacob and Mom went to check on the prices for the monorail. It was $55 dollars. We all went to the pool at 3:30. The slide here is awesome!!! Dad, Jacob and I went back to the room at 4:40 and Mom came at 5:00. Mom took a shower while Jacob and I went to the game room. It really fun in there!!! When we got back Jacob and I took our showers. We went to go eat at FnFC at 6:10. (COST $18.79) We then left to go to Studios at 6:55 and got there 6:08. We parked in Stage 39. We went straight to TZToT got FP to return at 8-9 o'clock. The wait was only 10 minutes but we decided to do stuff with the boys 1st. We did Star Tours with a 7-minute wait. A little girl threw-up and I felt really sorry for her. Her Dad was apologizing but there wasn't a reason too. We would have given napkins to them but I took them out of the backpack last night. Next we did Muppets just so we could tape Ricky Rat being Mickey Mouse. We had a 13-minute wait. It was time for our FP for TZToT and the boys went to do Star Tours. We took a potty break and when we were walking past Star Tours one of the strollers moved from the wind. This boy (with a country accent) said, "Look, Momma that buggy's movin' by itself!!!" It was so funny because of the accent. Went to TZToT and had a 7-minute wait. The CM just loved our backpack (it was the TZToT we had bought a Belz) I wanted to sit in the seatbelt seat just like last year so we waited for it. We talked with the people that sat next to us. They had to be from England because their Mom had the accent. I love the seatbelt but once is enough. Most people say it's horrible because you have nothing to hold on too. Well, I never hold on so it doesn't matter. And I love flying out of my seat but it hold's you so tightly you don't move!!!! :( Mom bought the picture while I rode again. (COST $6.24 with coupon we got for buying the R 'n R pic) I sat next to this girl and we had fun. She said that she usually rides with her Mom's bf and he's pretty big so she usually flies. Well, the CM put our bar all the way down!!! :( Oh-well it was fun anyway. Next we did Voyage of the Little Mermaid with no wait. The CM said hurry and the lady in front of us was taking her time. Mom said go and she finally moved!! Great show like always!!! We did TZToT with a 10-minute wait. I got an Ice Cream cone from Hollywood Scoops. The guys in front of me said that he had just gotten off TZToT and it sucked!!! I almost screamed-what? It's the best ride ever but I held it in. oh-yeah when we rode TZToT the last time there was this girl who was like about my age (probably 12) and she said at the end of the ride-That was it..That was soooo lame!!! I turned around and there she is holding on to her Dad for like dear-life!!! I was like yeah it was lame but you are holding on to our Dad!!! I got my Natural Vanilla Bean cone (COST $2.68) and went to meet the rest of the family at Sweet Spells. On the way over there, I saw about 15 kids my age saying "excuse us, we have curfew to make." Their curfew was 10 and it was almost 9:50!!!! I doubt they made it but maybe they did!! Mom got a Peanut Butter/Chocolate Fudge. Dad got Chocolate Walnut Fudge. Jacob got Blue Powerade and blue cotton Candy. I got a Coke to share with Mom. (COST $14.08) We sat at Sunset Market and ate until we could line up for Fantasmic. There was a family with a little girl that was 4. She got mad and went to sit on the concrete away from the table. Her family ignored her and it made her even madder. It was so funny!!! My Mom said all little kids do that. We got in line at 10:20 and were seated in Mickey at 10:30. We had the perfect seats!!! We should have filmed this time instead of the last time when we were seated in stupid Jafar. We waited for the show to start. I went to go buy the Skyliner thing. It is the thing you twirl around with the words on it. (COST $20.00) Show was great like always and we got back to the room at 11:30. We all went to bed soon after that Saturday, June 10th-Day #11-Cape May, EPCOT, Millennium Village, MK Dad got up at 7:15 and took a shower. Jacob got up at 8:15 and took a shower then he went back to sleep. Mom got up at 9 ad took a shower. Jacob and I both got up at 9:15. We left CR at 9:47. We got to Beach Club at 10:00. We checked in at 10:05 and went to look at Stormalong Bay. It's huge!!!! We only saw the BC side too and I thought it was big after that. We were seated at 10:15. I LOVE THE BEACH CLUB!!!!!!! I used to love Grand Floridian (I still do but it is out of our price range) but last summer I just started liking BC. I don't know what happened but know I want to stay here so bad!!!! The breakfast was great-almost just as I remember in 1997. Chip, Dale, Goofy were there. Minnie was in the lobby. Minnie was so cute!!! She had on these shoes that were blue with little yellow starfish adorable!!! (COST $62.00) We left BC at 11:10 so we could walk to EPCOT. I notice on the way over there that Swan and Dolphin was known as WDW's hotel instead of Disney. I learned why when I got back through. We got to EPCOT at 11:18.We knew that the countries opened at 11 so that was the main reason of coming. But the Kidcots didn't open until 1!!!! So we decided to go to the Millennium Village. The MV is awesome!!!! We had so much fun!!! The golf at Scotland was kind of hard to get up some of the ramps but by the end we got it. The Brazil Soccer game was really fun!! Mom and Jacob were on one team. Dad and I were on the other. Of course, Mom and Jacob's team won!!! But I just had to get on number 28(its my favorite number!!) The walk through Sweden's seasons was pretty interesting, too!!!! We did Journey into Jerusalem, it was ok but it broke down right before we were going to go on it. We did the Farm one and Melissa (the CM) was from College Station, TX!!!!! My Dad is from there, too and graduated from Texas A&M. She liked freaked out!! It was awesome!!! Another Cm was wondering if we were from Missouri because Jacob had on his Cardinals hat. That was his championship team (Yes, they won 1st place in the 8 &9 year-old division in the playoffs) so he loves wearing his hat. Well, we are from Missouri...Missouri City that is....lol!!! Because people from Missouri did come and settle in TX. We did the World Culture Game and they cheated us!!! We got the 1st question the fastest and never got it again. One time we were done answering while the guy next to us was still punching and he got the points!!! Then we left. I think he walked right past the market thing. It didn't look that interesting. Next we went to UK and Canada to do the Kidcot things and got our passports signed. We finally got a Beaver Tail. It was half Strawberries 'n cream and half cinnamon sugar. Jacob ate most of it and I was really mad at him!! He said he didn't want it and then I let him have like a bite he ate half of what was mine!! Of course, he didn't get in trouble but if I would've done that I would have been yelled at. Either way, I get yelled at. At this time we didn't know that we left the passports on the bench where Jacob ate the Beaver Tail. We went to do TT in the singles line. We had a 14-minute wait. Actually, that is how long it took Mom to get on. Jacob and I both got on before her. Well, it broke down again!!! Of course, for me it was around the brake area again. Well, they let all the cars ride again because no one was in line Well, I rode again and when I got off Jacob came up to me and said, "Where have you been?!!?" I told him I rode again. He said that they made his car get out. I was ok I was in the car in front, and Mom and Dad were in the 2 cars behind him and we all go to ride again. Of Course, he cried. I would have wanted to also. I mean he is a 7-year-old wondering where we are looking for us and can't find us. And we are all riding and he isn't. So Mom, Jacob and I rode again while Dad waited. He said he didn't want to ride. We had a 10-minute wait. GUESS WHAT??? We had problems again!!!! But this time it was funny. The people in our car had never ridden before and when we stopped in the brake area they were like whoa, that is so surprising. I almost said that the ride is broke right now but it was kind of funny so I didn't say anything. Next we walked over to Norway to get the passports and such done and we couldn't find them!!! So we walked over to Canada and they had them at the kidcot. We were to tired to do the countries so we got Beaver Tails and walked back to BC. We got 3 Beaver Tails. One was Strawberries and cream. The other 2 were Cinnamon Sugar with one of them was half with Lemon Juice. We got back to CR at 3:33. Dad was asleep and 3:35. We watched Growing Pains and Bug Juice. I can't believe I have missed like all of B Session on Bug Juice!!! The rest of us were asleep by 5:40. Mom and I woke up at 7:00 and went to get food at the FnFC. (COST $25.13) We were back in the room at 7:30 and woke up the boys. We ate and got ready to go to MK. We left CR at 8:16. We got to MK at 8:25. (This is how long it takes to walk to MK) it was really funny. There was this monorail that passed us. Well, we beat it to MK because they had to wait for the other monorail to leave!! Haha!! We were in the park by 8:30. We went straight to LotLK. That was the main reason of us coming. The last show was at 8!!!! Oh-well we will have to come back another time! We went and did IASW with a 1-minute wait. (Green boat). We did the Carousel with a 1-minute wait. We sat on the horses for over 3 minutes while the CM checked everyone. The ride is only like a minute or so!!!! I think they need to make it longer!! We did Snow White with a 4-minute wait. I really love Snow White and ya'll can't take it away!!! I mean it was the 1st Disney animated feature so ya'll really cant take it away!!! Actually, I think PotC is going to be next because I haven't waited I in line for that in a while. Speaking of closing rides, CoP has also had short hours for some time. They didn't just change it. If they take it away it would be like taking away WDW!!! (In the sense that it was WALT'S idea for Cop and WDW so it kind of means the same thing) Anyways, we went and did TTA( yay!!!) with no wait. I sat in my own car!! Next we went and did Timekeeper with a 4-minute wait. After timekeeper we went over to Pete's Garage to watch the fireworks and to take a potty break. Of course the fireworks were wonderful (I got to film them) EXCEPT there was a kid about 3 I guess that would scream at every loud pop. So she screamed at like everything!!!! We did Barnstormer with no wait. When we got off there was another little boy that said something funny. It was- "Mom and Dad we better run!! If you don't watch out were gonna git wet!!!" It was so cute!!! We walked through Mickey and Minnie's houses with no wait. We went over and saw CBJ with a 5-minute wait. This time I filmed Big Al and it is going to turn out shaky because I was laughing when he came on. We then did Peter Pan twice both times with a 10-minute wait. (See, we did get our wait down!!!) We walked right on Snow White then decided to go do Dumbo. We did Dumbo with an 11-minute wait. It is such a slow loading ride and it isn't very long either. There were teens in front of us and they weren't acting well. Like 2 of them cut us in line. We looked in the Emperium and I found a shirt I want. My Mom said that when we came back for E-night that I could get it. We left Mk at 12:01. We got back to the room 12:11. We were asleep pretty soon after that. Sunday June 11th, Day #12- DAD'S BIRTHDAY!!!!, TL, EPCOT, Chef Mickey's I got up at 8:00 and laid in bed listening to the people walk past our door talking about the monorail. I dozed on and off until 9:30. Dad got up at 9:00. Mom and Jacob got up at 10:00. Yay!!! It is Daddy's birthday!!!! My grandma called and we talked to her for a while. We left CR at 10:45 to go to TL. Jacob went to go get a refill at the FnFC before we left. We got to TL at 11:05 and went straight to the wave pool. They have HUGE waves. One time, my Mom feel under and almost lost her sunglasses and her contacts!!!!!!! Next we went and did the Lazy River. It was fun. Next we went on a search for the Family Raft Ride and found it. While, we were in line it started raining. We had about a 20-minute wait and the ride was about a 1 minute long!!!! We left at 12:30 because we were COLD!!!! We got back to the hotel around 12:45. We all took showers and went to go eat at the FnFC. We just hung around the hotel watching T.V. and left for EPCOT around 3:45. We went to EPCOT at 4:00. We parked in Amaze 35.Halfway to the entrance Mom asked who had the backpack. Jacob wore it in the van and left it there. So Dad went back to get it. Finally, got in EPCOT and went straight to the countries. Did Maelstrom and while we were waited in line, Jacob and I went to do the passport masks. We added a necklace that had our initials on it in old Viking letters. By the time, we were done with it they had moved out of the room. So we cut through the line and finally found them. We had a 21-minute wait. (Longest of the trip!!!!) The guy that's says-"you are not the first to pass this way" sounds just like my uncle!!!! (He is also from Norway) I know how to say car (biel), plane (flee), ambulance (sickabiel) and thank you (twos-in-tuck) in Norwegian. After Maelstrom (we didn't stay for the movie) we went in the shop to get the passports signed. Next we went to China and got the passports and such done. They told us what year you were. I think I was the year of the dragon or tiger but I forgot. They stamped it on the back of the mask. After China we went to Germany. There they signed our passports and we added some music notes. Then we went to Italy. In Italy, there was a band playing so it was hard to hear. The CM keep asking what I said and it got really annoying!! There we added 3 feathers to the top of the mask. The colors were red, white and green. After Italy comes America. There we added a string with three beads on it. It was supposed to be like hair, I guess. Next we went to Japan where we got 3 Kaki Goris. (COST $6.75) Dad went and got pecans (COST $3.00). In Japan we added a butterfly. It was the same lady was last year. I remember she wrote the same thing and talked the same way. I forgot her name though!! I think it began with an N but I am not sure!!! After Japan we went to Morocco. All there was to do there was to add some glitter except the glitter was in some glue. So about an hour later I had dry glue coming off my hands. When went over to France we saw Aladdin, Genie, Jafar and Jasmine giving autographs but we didn't get them. We went to France and when we got over there the Living Statue was about to begin a show. Jacob was the 3rd one to go up. The statue held on to him. I was going to go but then we left so I just forgot it. We went to France and go the passport done and added a bit of paint. I just did a couple of dots in different colors all over the face. Finally, we were done with our beautiful masks!!! Since this would be our last time at EPCOT, we decided to do Spaceship Earth one last time with a 1-minute wait. After our last ride, we walked out. I looked up at the 2000 and got tears in my eyes. This was our 2nd trip with that and next time we come it wont be there!!!! :( :( Even though last year there were still working on it, (in our picture there is a crane in the back ground) that's how I remember SE. I don't really remember our other 3 trips before that so it's hard for me to imagine it. I put my sunglasses on so if I cried it wouldn't be so oblivious. When we got in the car, Jacob cried and I just kept the tears in my eyes but they went away shortly though. We got back to the room about 7:00. We decided to do laundry while we getting ready for Chef Mickey's. We spent 2.00 on drying and 2.00 on washing. The clothes were done at 8:30. Mom and I folded them and put them in a bag and took them to the room. We got to Chef Mickey's and checked in at 8:40. We got our picture done and waited. After waiting 10 minutes we were seated. The food was good except we didn't like the way they did the Characters. They had Minnie, Pluto, Donald, and Goofy in the lobby. They have always had Donald and Goofy but not the other 2. We didn't have a chance to see Minnie or Pluto. Also, we had to wait for Chip to come to our room. He came through there twice and never stopped. (COST $81.00) My Mom said we probably wont do it next time. We have been doing this every year since 1997!!! I have to convince to do it again!!! After that we went and looked in the store. That was put out in the hall because they were remodeling the Bay view Center. Jacob came up to Mom and said that he was going to throw-up. Dad took him to the bathroom and he did. He had about 3 or 4 glasses of Pink Lemonade and almost no food. We think that was the reason. We got back to the room about 10:15. We all went to sleep a little bit after that. Monday, June 12th-Day #13- USF, Chili's, Belz, Golf, McDonalds, Taco Bell Dad got up at 5:45. Mom got up at 6:10. I got up at 6:15 and Jacob up at 6:25. We all got dressed and left CR at 6:45. We got to USF at 7:10 and parke |
