Welcome to Brian Bennett's Walt Disney World Trip Planning Guide!

I originally wrote this document back in 1994 and 1995 (it was expanded several times in those two years).  Since I'd been to WDW a few times I wrote the first few versions of this guide as a "hand out" to give when I was bombarded with questions by friends and family as they planned their own trips to Walt Disney World.

In late 1995. I first got "on-line" as I started using America On-Line and the internet.  As a result, I posted my "Walt Disney World Trip Planning Guide," as a text document, in the America On-line Travel Forum and later yet, to the internet newsgroup "rec.arts.disney.parks."

At the urging of several on-line friends, primarily Al Lutz (of the Disneyland Information Guide), I finally took the plunge and developed this Web version of the Planning guide. It was first released on the world wide web on 01 July 1996 -- and has been almost continuously updated ever since.  Things came full circle on July 17th, 2000 (Disneyland's 45th Anniversary) when Al and I teamed up with a bunch of other great folks and started MousePlanet, so we could offer even more information on the North American Disney resorts.

In the years since the WDW Trip Planning Guide first went online, I've reported on WDW's 25th Anniversary Celebration, the Millennium Celebration, and now, in 2001 and 2002, the 100 Years of Magic Celebration - commemorating the 100th birthday of Walter Elias Disney.  I hope you enjoy this updated version of the Guide as much as I've enjoyed making it available to you!

Let me know when you find gaps in the material or when you find out-of-date or incorrect information.  I'm constantly trying to improve and expand this site to make it more helpful.  I've even created a feedback page, if you'd be so kind as to check it out and send me your questions and comments (especially about that out-of-date or incorrect stuff).

I hope you will find it a useful resource as you plan your own trips to the Vacation Kingdom of the World!
