AAA Perks

MousePlanet now offers Online Booking!  Click on the link to make your own hotel, rental car, and other reservations!

Automobile Association of America (AAA) members are eligible for several perks if they book their WDW vacations and/or buy their WDW admission media through AAA.  Here's a sampling of the perks (and please, please, please

VIP Lounge

The AAA VIP Lounge, located in the Magic Kingdom Park in Tomorrowland (to the right side of the Carrousel of Progress), is for people who have booked their travel through AAA. When you book a trip though AAA, you get a voucher admitting you to the lounge. The Lounge offers an opportunity for AAA customers to take a break during their day to enjoy a complimentary soft drink in a private, relaxing location.

Special discounts are available when you show your "AAA Diamond Card" on "selected meals, merchandise and recreation at participating locations throughout the Walt Disney World Resort."

Preferred Viewing

Access to preferred viewing for:
  • Mickey's Jammin' Jungle Parade at the Animal Kingdom Park.
  • Fantasy in the Sky fireworks at the Magic Kingdom
  • IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth at Epcot

With certain restrictions (for example, only one viewing per theme park, subject to availability, and block-out dates apply.)

On-Site Services

AAA maintains on-site services that can be very helpful:
  • AAA Travel and Touring Services Center, located in Exposition Hall on Main Street in the Magic Kingdom, provides member services including travel information and travel arrangements for your trip home or future travel plans. TripTik routings, TourBook guides, maps and more are available for AAA members. AAA memberships are also available.
  • AAA Car Care Center, located near the main Magic Kingdom parking lot, has ASE certified technicians available for quality automotive maintenance and repairs if needed during your visit to Walt Disney World.
  • AAA Emergency Road Service provides dependable roadside assistance and towing service every day of the year for guests at Walt Disney World. Towing within the boundaries of Walt Disney World is offered at no charge.

Preferred Parking

The AAA Diamond Lots are available at all four Disney Theme Parks, but they're only available during the less-busy times of the year.  Here's a rundown of the program:

To qualify for parking at the AAA Diamond Lots, a member must:

  • Purchase a Walt Disney Travel Company Magic Moments Package

  • Purchase a AAA Disney Driveaway Vacations Package OR

  • Purchase 5-DAY PARK HOPPER PASS & 6-DAY PARK HOPPER PLUS PASS - AAA receives Preferred Diamond lot vouchers when they order the 5 and 6 day tickets. One voucher is sent for every 2 adult tickets ordered. Voucher as described under entitlements. Show the voucher at WDW toll plazas. The voucher only allows the AAA member to park in the Diamond Lot (closer to the gate) if space is available. THIS VOUCHER IS NOT FOR FREE PARKING.

The AAA Diamond Lots parking is based upon availability and is included at Disney's Magic Kingdom Park, Epcot, Disney MGM Studio and Animal Kingdom near the entrance.

Only the tickets listed above have AAA Preferred Diamond Lot parking privileges. This does not apply to any other ticket types for sale at Florida AAA locations.

  • AAA Members are still charged the regular parking fee when entering Walt Disney World theme park parking lots.

  • Certain restrictions may apply, program subject to change.

  • Parking benefit is valid for length of stay on above packages.

Clearly, AAA membership can be helpful when you're planning a trip... but as always, make sure you compare the perks against the price you're paying for the trip!  Make sure that the value is right for the cost!
