Special Package Deals
Disney offers several meal and recreation packages that can be added
to a resort stay. The most inclusive "Grand Plan" is only
available for guests staying at the Deluxe and Home-Away-From-Home resorts.
The older "Disney Disney Style" and "Food 'n' Fun"
packages that included meals and recreation only (in various combinations)
are no longer available.
I've pulled the descriptions of the packages directly from Disney.com
just to make it easy for you to compare them here...

So, Do I Buy a Plan Deal or What?
The key to determining how valuable any Disney package is for you is
to think through what your actual usage will be of what perks are included.
If you'll use the flex features, and you still feel like you'll be able
to take full advantage of the meal portion of the package, then you'll
likely do well to use a package deal. If you won't use some of the "perks"
then the overall value drops for you.
I don't mean to be condescending as I state this stuff...it's really
pretty obvious, but the fact of the matter is -- if you won't use the
extras, then they have absolutely no value to you and you really must
eliminate them from the equation.
Also, beware of package items that are very nice (like the "free"
pins, animation cels, and so on). Again, they can be a great perk,
but they're not really "free" if they are boosting the price
of the package deal above what you would pay ala carte for the vacation
you'll really be using.
I guess the bottom line is... caveat emptor! (may the buyer beware!)
Only you can know what you'll really use and what you won't. You can make
a good decision after thinking that through.
