I will update this list as new information becomes available. Very
little information on official special events is released by more than
a few weeks prior to the event (although there are some exceptions).
If you're looking for more specific information or for information about
an event that is not listed here, I'd suggest you contact Walt Disney

2003 Special Events
- Extended through February 2003, "100 Years of Magic Celebration,"
in honor of the 100th anniversary of the birth of Walter Elias Disney.

- January 12 WDW Marathon which features both a Full and
a Half Marathon that is run through and between the parks at WDW.
- January 30 - February 2; February 3-6 - Dream Week... Live,
Learn & Play with all time Braves Legends!!! -- Suit-up and play
with Braves all times greats and make your dream come true!! You've
dreamed about it since childhood. Now live it. This is your once-in-a-lifetime
chance to enter the world of Major League Baseball and live your dream
alongside many of your childhood heroes.This camp is open to males age

February 27 - March 28 Atlanta Braves
Spring Training exhibition games at the Disney Wide World of Sports
Complex. Tickets go on sale January 4. Buy tickets in person at the
Disney Wide World of Sports box office, or call Ticketmaster at 407-839-3900.

March 30 First-ever Walt Disney World
Inline Marathon. The race will feature a 13.1-mile loop course that
begins and finishes at Disney's Wide World of Sports® Complex.

April 19, 20, 26, 27, 3, Grad Nights at the Magic
Kingdom (Magic Kingdom closes early each of these days!). Here's

April 25 - June 8, 10th Annual
International Flower & Garden Festival, Epcot. My wife,
Barbara, provides a wonderful photo tour of the 2000
International Flower & Garden Festival and another photo tour
of the Topiary
presented at the 2001 International Flower & Garden Festival.
If you're a garden fan, and can plan your visit around the Festival,
you'll be glad you did!
- May 16-18, 23-25, 30 - June 1, 6-8, 13-15, Star Wars Weekends
at Disney-MGM Studios. There's a ton of information about this special

- Annual PGA tournament. In the past, the even has been held at the
Lake Buena Vista Golf Club, but has been run over at the Magnolia and
