Park Shuttle Comments:
|
We tried to take the shuttle the first day, but found it very
inconvenient. The bus stops at ALL the Downtown Disney Resorts
before going to the parks and it takes a very long time. Trying
to get back at night was very difficult. We stood in line for
over an hour after the park closed. After that experience we rented
a car. Also the early entry did not work the way it has for us
at an "on-site hotel" because the transportation did not get us
there until the Magic Morning was 1/2 over. We were very disappointed
with the transportation. |

Accommodations Review:
|
Our room was nice, standard in size, with a view of Downtown
Disney. We had to remove a desk to make room for our daughter's
crib, which housekeeping did cheerfully. We could see the fireworks
each night from our window, which was fun. We were on the Concierge
level and enjoyed the continental breakfast and snacks. |

Restaurant/Lounge Review:

We did not eat at any of the sit down restaurants. We did order
room service once which was fine. About average for hotel room
service. |

Pool Description/Comments:

We swam for a short while one afternoon. The pool was nice with
a small separate baby pool. There was live music and drink service.

The Hilton was a nice hotel but we much prefer the experience
at the Disney hotels. It was much quieter than an on-site resort
and more relaxing. The staff was helpful and overall it was a
very nice place to stay. However this is a Disney vacation and
relaxing just isn't the point, at least not for my family. We
felt a bit disappointed with the overall experience and will go
back to a themed resort next time. |
