Very nice. Back in 1990 there was a cash snack
and beverage bar. We were wary enough to not use any of
the items and later found out (through discussions with other conference
attendees) that the prices were exorbitant. |
Rate/Night (for your stay):
|
$130 / night (without taxes)...pretty expensive back
then, even for off season! |

It's been a long time since we visited the hotel.
We just don't remember much about the pool...that might tell you something.
It was nice, un-themed, but well-maintained. |

Our November 1990 trip was paid for by my employer.
Actually, I'd been sent to a conference that just happened to be held
at the Hilton. I took Barb along when I found out that I could
buy her ticket for just $230 roundtrip. We arrived on a Friday
(to make sure to get the best airfare rates) and spent the weekend
just having fun in the parks (we bought annual passes which we also
used for our trip in April 1991). The conference was a 9am-4pm
thing, so we spent each evening at Epcot from Monday through the rest
of the trip.
It was on this trip that we discovered the wonderful convenience
of door to park transportation. We used the bus system (even
though we had a rental car) for every foray into the parks.
The ease of use was one of the things that sold us on staying on-site
for our next trip.
