On WDW Property, just South and West of the Grand Floridian
on Magnolia/Palm Drive. Magnolia, Palm, and Oak Trail golf courses
are right at SOG!
(Editor's Note: Shades of Green was originally built by the
Walt Disney Company and operated as the "Golf Resort"
and the "Disney Inn" before it was leased to the Department
of Defense. It is a smaller resort than most of the onsite
hotels, but is very charming and a bit more quiet since it's off-the-beaten-path
and no longer an advertised WDW resort hotel.)

very close to Disney's flagship resort), however, complementary bus

Shades of Green resort is a totally self-supporting
and fully operated resort with nonappropriated funds located on WDW
Property. This resort is exclusively for the active and retired members
of the uniformed services, Reserves, National Guard, as well as Dept
of Defense civilians. Shades of Green resort is now a totally smoke
free resort. Members will need either their ID's or a current LES
upon check-in. Each member may reserve up to 3 rooms. Rooms
are priced according to pay-grade. |

Room Rates after October 1, 1998:
- E-1 through E-5 $59.00
- E-6 through E-9, 0-1 through 0-3, WO-1 to CW-3, GS-1 through
GS-10, NF-1 through NF-3, Widows, Medal of Honor Winners, and
Medically retired or 100% Disabled Veterans $84.00
- 0-4 through 0-6, CW-4 and CW-5, GS-15, and NF-4 and NF-5 $89.00
- 0-7 through 0-10, Active Duty Foreign Military assigned to a
US Military Installation, Retired DoD Civilians, and NF-6 $98.00
Please note: An additional $10.00 per additional adult 18 years
or older will be added to room. All room rates are subject to change
without notice. Above rates are based upon two adults occupying
a room. Rates are available year round with the exception of Christmas
and New Year's Holidays. Maximum number of rooms per sponsor is
3 and occupancy per room is five. Military sponsors should not reserve
additional rooms for other eligible guests. Cancellation notice
must be received 30 days prior to arrival date to avoid a fee of
one night or 10% of a package. Any additional sponsored rooms
will receive the rate that applies to category 2 of $84.00 per night.

Gold Leaf 4-9 night packages offers guests:
- Accommodations at the SoG
- Stars and Stripes Length of Stay pass which includes: MK, Epcot,

complex. Tickets expire midnight the day you check out.

Please be sure to call Shades of Green resort as early as possible
for reservations. This hotel books very fast. Should the hotel be
booked, there is a waiting list that you may ask to be placed on.
SoG will also make reservations for other hotels on and off property
with a military discount should the SoG be booked.
