We think the lodge was great. I am very particular about staying
away from home, and I felt really comfortable here. The rooms were
very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The view from
our balcony was terrific. We saw animals all different times of the
day and night. We walked the halls looking at all the displays. We
wish we would of had more time to stay at the lodge and just take
in all the surroundings.
The tour guide from Johannesburg, South Africa and the savannah
guide from Botswana were very pleasant to speak with and answered
all the questions that we had. We ate at the Boma while there. We
all enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. We had friends come eat
with us. We had friends and family come visit while we stayed and
they all were amazed how nice the lodge was. We give this lodge
an exceptional rating.

Why Did you Select This Resort for your Stay?

We selected this lodge because I am very particular. I knew it had
just opened and it should be nice. We liked the idea of having animals
outside of our room. We enjoy different cultures, and since my husband
lived in Africa for a short time I could also see some of the culture. |
Room # and Location Description:

Our room was on the 5th floor. We had an end room with the 180 degree
balcony. We had a Savannah View Room. Our room number was 5483. |

Our location was on an end. We liked everything about our room.

Check-In / Check-Out Comments:

Check-In and Check-Out was very easy and smooth. All of the staff
was very courteous and friendly. It is nice to have everyone you see
speak. |
WDW Transportation Comments:

We took advantage of the transportation. We used the buses to get
to and from each park. They were conveniently located at the lodge. |
Restaurant / Lounge Review:

We really enjoyed the Boma. And so did our friends. |
Pool Description / Comments:

Our son took advantage of the pool when he could. We heard a lot
of outside comments on how everyone thought the pool was great. |
What Suggestions Would you Give Anyone that is Considering This
Resort?
|
You definitely should stay at the lodge. You should give yourself
a day or two to just stay at the lodge and take in everything there.
We wish we would of had more down time at the lodge. |
